There is a profound relationship between folklore and literature.This paper regards folklore as an overall cultural landscape,takes "folklore as a method",draws lessons from the research methods of folklore,cultural anthropology,sociology,philosophy,narratology,aesthetics,psychology and other related disciplines,and takes "locality" as a reference.From the perspective of cultural criticism and cultural reflection,this paper probes into the theme changes,narrative strategies,aesthetic implication and inner deep value of folk writing in local novels since the new period.on the one hand,in the modern society of great transformation and great change,how local writers write poems about local folk customs full of cultural colors and try to construct a kind of native "new cultural poetics".The writing direction of the paper is:On the other hand,when the old cultural model is fading away and the new cultural model is urgently needed to be established,how local writers write local folk customs that represent Chinese culture and root culture so as to express self-examination and criticism of the current social and cultural development model,at the same time to show self-conscious thinking about the local cultural reconstruction in the future.The paper consists of three parts: the introduction,sixth chapters and the conclusion.The specific contents are as follows:The choosing this topic,the significance and innovation of this topic,and so on.Since the "New Literature" period,the folk writing in local novels has shown numerous and complicated patterns,and folk customs have played an important role in local novels in different historical periods.To a great extent,folklore has contributed to the formation and construction of local novels,and folk writing has played a crucial role in promoting the deepening of themes,narrative diversity,aesthetic implication and ideological deepening of local novels.The first to the third chapter of the paper mainly
