| Since the 20th century,Chinese figure painting has experienced the development process of learning from western painting.In this process,people improved the traditional Chinese figure painting by emphasizing the realistic modeling principle of Western painting and the expression of light and shade.Among them,as an important part of Western modeling language,the use of light also has a profound impact on traditional figure painting.This not only makes modern figure painting break away from the appearance of traditional figure painting in the expression of "light",but also develops its own unique "light" techniques and effects in the process of the development of modern Chinese figure painting.Therefore,it is of great significance to study and discuss the development process of "light" in modern figure painting and summarize the role and aesthetic connotation of "light" in modern figure painting.Through the research,this paper finds that the development and evolution of "light"in modern Chinese figure painting is not an isolated art phenomenon,but an epitome of the development history of modern Chinese figure painting.The reason why "using light"has become an important language of Chinese figure painting since the 20th century is not only the objective and realistic reasons,but also the needs of the development of Chinese figure painting itself.It came with the "realism" imported from the eastward spread of Western painting" and "the integration of China and the west".The realistic role of its plastic body was carried forward and became the mainstream creative means of Chinese figure painting.It has continued to this day,but it has always refused to describe the objective light and shadow and emphasized the grasp of intuition.After a long localization transformation,the "light" language of modern Chinese figure painting has gradually developed into rich forms and effects other than modeling.This paper discusses the change and development of the concept and technology of"light use" in Chinese figure painting from the 20th century to the present,and explores how foreign art techniques can be absorbed and used locally and obtain new significance and value.In terms of methods,try to use the research approaches of sociology,art and history to reproduce the more objective appearance of the times for the development of this technology,and understand different colleges,schools and universities from the perspective of political environment,social thoughts and university teaching Individual artists’ understanding and cognition of "using light",think about its historical value and long-term significance in the history of Chinese art,and learn from experience to make the language of "using light" in Chinese painting more possible in the future. |
