Anthropological Research On The Inheritance And Innovation Of Yao’s Red Culture In Western Guangxi

The protection and inheritance of rural cultural resources has been a hot academic topic for many years,and the proposal of the strategy of Rural Revitalization in 2017 has pushed the research on the protection and inheritance of rural cultural resources to a climax.In light of the strategy,how to achieve the cultural revitalization through the protection and inheritance of rural cultural resources has become a research hotspot nowadays.As an important part of rural cultural resources,red cultural resources are the research object of this study,whose purpose is to promote the protection and inheritance of the red cultural resources in the Yao inhabited areas in Western Guangxi,to provide theoretical basis and practical countermeasures,and to play a leading role in the social development and governance of the Western Guangxi during the strategy of Rural Revitalization.From the anthropological point of view,this study combs the three aspects of Yao research and development,red cultural resources research,and cultural resources inheritance and innovation strategy through the methods of literature analysis,fieldwork,case analysis.The dissertation focus on Dahua Yao Autonomous County,Du’an Yao Autonomous County and Bama Yao Autonomous County due to their relatively intensive cultural resources,though also involve other places like Donglan,Ningming,Leye,Fengshan county.The field survey has carried out to grasp the basic situation of Western Guangxi Yao inhabited areas.In order to study the inheritance and innovation of red cultural resources in Western Guangxi,we should first clarify the overall cultural characteristics of Yao inhabited areas represented by Du’an,Dahua and Bama.Through the overall analysis of the natural ecological and cultural ecological conditions of the Yao inhabited areas in Western Guangxi,we can understand the overall distribution,basic forms and important values of the red cultural resources of the Yao people in Western Guangxi.On this basis,combined with the regional cultural characteristics,we further analyze the formation basis of the Yao red culture in Western Guangxi,and point out that the armed struggle led by the Communist Party of China in the Zuojiang revolutionary base area during the first Kuomintang communist cooperation period promoted the sinking of revolutionary thoughts and actions in the traditional village society,and laid the foundation for the formation and rooting of red culture in the countryside.The formation of red culture has shaped the new cultural tradition in Western Guangxi.Through the rich development in different periods,it has gradually become an important spiritual and cultural component of Yao ethnic group in Western Guangxi.Under the promotion of Rural Revitalization Strategy in the new era,cultural self-confidence has become an important prerequisite for the development of ethnic areas,and the political demand of the state for red culture has objectively promoted the "rediscovery" of red culture in Western Guangxi.The state led arrangement of red cultural resources emphasizes the reconstruction of revolutionary relics and revolutionary stories,and the protection of red cultural resources is unprecedented.Compared with the state led resource arrangement,the local society also incorporated red culture and revolutionary heroes into the regional history and culture.Through the reproduction of revolutionary deeds in daily life,they established a strong sense of group honor and regional Yao group identity,and finally pointed to the national identity with the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as the core.The state led regional red culture protection makes up for the deficiency of market and social spontaneous protection.It has a basic position in cultural protection.It emphasizes the artistic and political attributes of culture,especially emphasizes the guiding significance of red culture’s socialist core values through the construction of public cultural service system.In the context of Rural Revitalization Strategy,red cultural resources are also given multiple expectations to improve the livelihood of local Yao people and promote industrial development.Tourism development and industrial integration based on red cultural resources have become an important way of local social development.Based on the current geographical conditions of transportation and the distribution of cultural resources in the Yao inhabited areas in Western Guangxi,"transportation + tourism + poverty alleviation" is a feasible path for the development of regional red cultural tourism.In order to promote the sustainable development of the inheritance and innovation of regional red culture,it is necessary to integrate the red culture and regional urbanization as a whole,endow the urbanization with resources and characteristics with red culture,and provide a lasting foundation and power for the inheritance and innovation of red culture with urbanization.This paper classifies the red cultural resources of the Yao inhabited area in the west of Guangxi and clarifies its cultural characteristics.This paper analyzes the measures taken in the process of red cultural resources protection and inheritance in Yao inhabited areas of Western Guangxi,interviews with the inheritor of red cultural resources and those who govern the protection and inheritance of red culture,and participates in the procedure of protection and inheritance.The study believes that in the protection and inheritance of the red culture in the Yao inhabited areas of Western Guangxi,the government should play a leading role to promote red culture resources from the aspects of cultural text,material objects,space,stage and media.Meanwhile,the main body of protecting red cultural resources shall be people from both inside and outside,who are the starting point and key point,and also disseminator and receiver of red culture.Under this understanding,through the construction of public cultural undertakings supported by the technical system,the content of red culture is enriched and its significance of the times is expanded.What is more,taking "Highway+ Tourism + Poverty Alleviation " as the important mode of the inheritance and innovation of the Yao’s red cultural resources in Western Guangxi,we can improve the comprehensive benefits of the cultural tourism market in the interconnection and achieve the protection and inheritance of the red cultural resources.Finally,we should create cultural spaces by building sound infrastructure and promote cultural agglomeration effect brought forth by urbanization construction to promote the inheritance and innovation of red cultural resources.
