This dissertation is about the translation and analysis of six known music treatise documents in Tibetan ancient books as the object.This dissertation consists of seven parts.The introduction includes four parts: the current situation and development of domestic and foreign research,research object and scope,research purpose and significance,and research methods.The research object of the first chapter is Saban’s Treatise on Music.It consists of four parts: Chinese translation of “Treatise on Music”,annotation and interpretation,author and chronology of the book,and content analysis.The research object of the second chapter is The Exegesis for the Treatise on Music.It consists of four parts: Chinese translation of “The Exegesis for the Treatise on Music”,annotation and interpretation,author and chronology of the book,and content analysis.The research object of the third chapter is The Treatise on Music on Brahma’s Neck Decoration.It consists of four parts: Chinese translation of “The Treatise on Music on Brahma’s Neck Decoration”,annotation and interpretation,author and chronology of the book,and content analysis.The research object of the fourth chapter is The Exegesis for Treatise on Music on Brahma’s Neck Decoration.It consists of four parts: Chinese translation of “The Exegesis for Treatise on Music on Brahma’s Neck Decoration”,annotation and interpretation,author and chronology of the book,and content analysis.The research object of the fifth chapter is The Treatise for Innate Music on the Wise Neck Decoration.It consists of four parts: Chinese translation of “The Treatise for Innate Music on the Wise Neck Decoration”,annotation and interpretation,author and chronology of the book,and content analysis.The research object of the Sixth chapter is The Treatise for Interdependence Music on the Wise Neck Decoration.It consists of four parts: Chinese translation of “The Treatise for Interdependence Music on the Wise Neck Decoration”,annotation and interpretation,author and chronology of the book,and content analysis.In the conclusion,the author comprehensively explains the order,content and correlation of the six classics,the early inheritance areas,the reasons for the retranslation of some treatise and personal expectations.The appendix is the original text of six ancient books: “Treatise on Music”,“The Exegesis for the Treatise on Music”,“The Treatise on Music on Brahma’s Neck Decoration”,“The Exegesis for Treatise on Music on Brahma’s Neck Decoration”,“The Treatise for Innate Music on the Wise Neck Decoration”,and “The Treatise for Interdependence Music on the Wise Neck Decoration”.“Treatise on Music” itself is a collation,so it has not been collated with other editions and classics;The combination of“The Exegesis for the Treatise on Music” with “The Treatise for Innate Music on the Wise Neck Decoration” and “The Treatise for Interdependence Music on the Wise Neck Decoration” has been collated;“The Treatise on Music on Brahma’s Neck Decoration” has been collated based on two versions;“The Exegesis for Treatise on Music on Brahma’s Neck Decoration” has been collated based on two versions;The combination of “The Treatise for Innate Music on the Wise Neck Decoration” with “The Exegesis for the Treatise on Music” and “The Treatise on Music on Brahma’s Neck Decoration ”has been collated;“The Treatise for Interdependence Music on the Wise Neck Decoration” is combined with “The pith of Drum Technique” and “The playing method of cymbals” and complementary content is added. |
