Cultural Inheritance And Innovation-

Hanzi are not only symbols for recording Chinese language and tools for communication,but also cultural carriers and the core of traditional Chinese culture.Typography design focuses on the structural design of Hanzi,such as the creation,simplification and complexity of structures;Typeface design is mainly the style design of Hanzi.The main research object of this paper is Typography design.Throughout the design of Hanzi in the past dynasties,the ideographic or cultural character of Hanzi itself is constantly weakening,such as the ancient Liding and the contemporary simplified Hanzi.Contemporary Chinese designers attach great importance to the practice of Hanzi design,but due to the lack of knowledge of ancient Hanzi,it is inevitable to use the wrong typography design;In addition,because some designers do not know the original meaning of the Hanzi designed,it is inevitable that there are errors in interpretation.On the basis of fully absorbing the existing research of philology,this paper deeply studies the original meaning of Hanzi,and tries to construct the design pedigree of Chinese typography,so as to design a reasonable typography.The main content of this paper is divided into two parts,the first part is the theoretical research of Hanzi design.It is divided into three chapters,the first chapter is the history of Hanzi typography design,the second chapter is the methods and problems of Hanzi typography design,the third chapter is the path of Hanzi typography design;The next part is the practice research of Hanzi design.It is divided into two chapters,the first chapter is about taking Zhushi-related to people,the second chapter is about taking Zhushi-related to things.The difficulties and innovations of this paper:(1)Redefinition of typography design and even Hanzi design.According to the research of this paper,the design of Hanzi shape is based on the structure design of Hanzi meaning and sound.Hanzi design is not only Hanzi typography design,which is usually considered by the design circle,but also Hanzi typography design.(2)Constructing pedigree of Hanzi typography design.The pedigree includes not only the typography design of the past dynasties,but also the two simple typography,Japanese typography and different typography types in the Chinese cultural circle.(3)Designing and constantly iterating Hanzi shapes.The design of the Hanzi typography involved is not accomplished overnight.The original typography needs to be constantly iterated until it tends to be perfect.To sum up,the design method of regular Hanzi is adopted to optimize the design of Hanzi typography on the basis of cultural inheritance,so as to solve the problem of separation of form and meaning or even disappearance in the process of Hanzi typography design,so that the cultural or ideographic character itself can be retained in typography design,so that designers can better engage in the practice of Hanzi design,which is conducive to the spread of ancient Hanzi and social aesthetic education.It can be used as a reference for the collation and standardization of Hanzi in the future and even for the book with text in the cultural circle of Hanzi.
