This paper uses the concept of "discourse capital" to explain the development of Shen Yanbing’s thought and the formation of speech and language mode.In the process of shen Yanbing’s thought development,his situation influenced by western thought is very complex,which can not be summarized by a certain doctrine.As an intellectual who grew up in the New Culture movement,Shen Yanbing broadened his theoretical horizon through the New Youth,but each theory was not absorbed by him as a whole.Shen Yanbing "decoded" each theory,organically integrated the factors conducive to promoting the generation of individual free will,and constructed an individual discourse capital system.This set of discourse capital continues to influence his study and absorption of other theoretical concepts,and constantly produces new cultural achievements.Shen Yanbing’s discourse capital construction is a dynamic process,which is characterized by the realization of free will as the ultimate goal,openness,expansion of reproduction,and consistency.His discourse capital system was originally formed,benefiting from the large number of Western cultural resources that he was exposed to during the New Culture Movement,as well as the articles and works of the new culture advocates at that time.All these become a kind of cultural capital,assisting Shen Yanbing to produce his own discourse capital system.Therefore,in the first chapter,this paper introduces the development of cultural relations at that time,centered with "New Youth".The purpose is to establish the cultural context of Shen Yanbing’s discourse capital construction.After constructing the prototype of the personal discourse capital system,Shen Yanbing took advantage of his favorable position in the Commercial Press to actively participate in the discussion of hot social issues at that time,such as the discussion of youth growth and women’s liberation.His theoretical thoughts have been tempered and improved in this cultural practice,and the discourse capital system has been continuously expanded,gradually forming his own way of speaking words and language.At the same time,Shen Yanbing took advantage of his work,introduced a large number of works of western writers,and actively participated in the construction of new literature.Through these literary activities,he continued to construct his personal discourse capital,but also passed on his own thoughts through literature.At the end of 1920 s,with the development of the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and the national revolution,"revolutionary literature" and left-wing literature became the main forces of the Communist Party in the cultural front.During this period,Shen Yanbing had an identity "division".After 1927,Shen Yanbing officially entered the field of literary creation under the pseudonym "MAO Dun".The appearance of this pseudonym means that he consciously distinguishes between political identity and cultural identity.After 1927,Shen Yanbing,who has a dual identity,handed over the discourse capital that he had constructed in the New Culture Movement to "MAO Dun",which also made MAO Dun continue the inertia of discourse capital in his creation.With his own literary creation,MAO Dun continued his thinking on ideological innovation in the revolutionary situation in full swing.The continuation of this discourse capital system also makes MAO Dun grow into a writer with rational speculation.With Shen Yanbing’s participation in the actual revolutionary movement and the deepening of the study of Marxism,his theoretical vision has been expanded,and he has a new understanding of the way of ideological innovation.He tried to seek the linkage between the political revolution and the liberation of individuality.Although there are many problems in the process of exploration,these defects cannot cover up Shen Yanbing’s outstanding contribution to Chinese cultural innovation.His thinking mode and discourse capital formed in the New Culture Movement also laid a foundation for the future development of his thoughts.
