Research On The Construction Of Ethical Consensus From The Perspective Of Social Governance

Social governance is a complex system involving multiple dimensions,including value principles,institutional mechanisms,and diverse social practice activities.Social governance is deeply integrated with everyone’s entire life activities,and deeply related to everyone’s real-time value choices.Therefore,the continuity of the social governance system inevitably depends on the extent to which people’s actions in it regenerate the current model.Only when the social governance system can guarantee and promote the moral integrity of social life,and effectively transform the setting of moral integrity into action,can it obtain true legitimacy.In the current process of social governance transformation,due to the fact that technology-oriented governance tendencies are difficult to support the true construction and sustainable development of social governance,and ethical consensus has become a common understanding and pursuit achieved by social governance entities in the process of consciously recognizing and actively thinking about real development.Therefore,the harmony between the variability of social governance situations and the stability of ethical consensus has become a prerequisite for the sustainable development of the social governance system.Thus,as a comprehensive standard and yardstick that can express the pursuit of future or due world values,ethical consensus has become an inevitable choice to achieve the effectiveness,legitimacy,and appropriateness of social governance.To fully play the role of ethics in social governance in the new era,it is necessary to promote the comprehensive integration of ethical consensus and social governance in terms of concept transformation,construction dimension,path selection,etc.This is determined by the inherent requirements of social governance activities and the cultural spirit with Chinese characteristics.In a unique context and practical context,the perspective of social governance not only absorbs diverse theories,but also contains different perspectives for examining issues,including not only the understanding of social governance practice in the epistemological sense,but also the imagination of the expected landscape of social governance in the sense of values.The ethical consensus in the perspective of social governance has moral authority,which is the result of subjective perception of mutual understanding and rational exchange of interests’ balance between subjects.It is a process in which governance subjects follow the ethical path already formed in history,comprehensively analyze the reality,recalibrate,and set ethical goals.The paper comprehensively adopts methods such as literature research,interdisciplinary perspective,historical and logical consistency,and saturated empirical approach to conduct research on the construction of ethical consensus from the perspective of social governance.Firstly,based on the logical foundation of the generation of social governance perspective,the necessity and possibility of constructing ethical consensus are explored.Starting from the interpretation of the connotation and contemporary evolution of social governance,this article puts consensus theory into the perspective of governance for ethical interpretation,follows the ethical interpretation,development trend,and construction conditions of consensus theory to discuss.Secondly,ethical consensus based on ideals should be able to map the pluralistic and secular perspectives of real society and explore the dimensions of ethical consensus construction.The ideal ethical consensus should include a commitment to freedom,respect for the law,recognition of the moral authority of the country,and tolerance for others.Through reflection and dialogue,people are willing to cooperate at the moral level and practice in social governance.By confirming the value dimension of giving priority to public good,explaining the political dimension of well-ordered ethical ecology,pursuing the administrative dimension of ethical practicality,it is concluded that human survival is not based on simple sympathy and self-sacrifice,but on a consensus that conforms to collective moral norms.Thirdly,we should rationally recognize and reflect on the dilemma of ethical consensus construction in history based on the standard of human existence.In human history,we have seen many actions aimed at seeking consensus,but these are often not true consensus,but just alienated identification.This alienation phenomenon can be observed in the development of traditional ethical consensus,transcendental ethical consensus,modern ethical consensus,and diachronic ethical consensus.Finally,with the overall strengthening and conscious integration of collective construction as the direction,explore new ideas for highlighting and realizing the value of ethical consensus from the perspective of social governance.This paper explores the ethical value correction of public rights,the positive interpretation of the relationship between self and others,the social realization of ethical practice quality,and the institutional construction of substantive unity.It builds on the premise of the universal principles of current ethical consensus,and then presents a social understanding of the possible future governance landscape.The innovation points of the paper are reflected in two aspects: content innovation and perspective innovation.Actively exploring the construction and development of ethical consensus from a realistic and down-to-earth perspective,in order to promote the integration of governance and ethics research.However,the systematic and comprehensive nature of the research remains the biggest challenge and deficiency.Thought and theory are the representation of social reality,but the principle of truth must be continued in this representation.Perhaps the construction of ethical consensus for future social governance gives us enormous space for creation and imagination,but this construction must start from current practice,so ethical consensus is both open and constantly transcending.It is in this sense that the improvement of humanity never ends.
