Research On The Education Of Ideals And Convictions Of The Communist Party Of China In The New Democratic Revolution

Ideals and convictions are people’s good imagination,reasonable presupposition and scientific planning for the future society or their own development in social practice,and thus form the mental attitude and mental state of unswerving action.Ideals and convictions which belong to the category of ideology are a unique spiritual phenomenon of human society.They are the organic combination of cognition,emotion and will of human beings,and the ideological cornerstone and spiritual motivation to promote the progress and development of human society.The Communist Party of China is an advanced Marxist party with lofty ideals and firm convictions.Ideals and convictions are the spiritual pillar and political soul of Chinese Communists,as well as the ideological basis for maintaining the unity of the whole Party.In reviewing the history of the CPC over the past 100 years,the CPC has always adhered to its ideals and convictions,standing firm in its original aspiration and founding mission.It has united and led the whole Party,the armed forces,and the people of all ethnic groups in China to make great achievements in revolution,construction,reform,and the New Era,driving the Chinese nation to achieve the tremendous transformation from standing up and growing prosperous to becoming strong.At the same time,it has forged itself into the world’s largest political party that is full of vitality and the spirit of self-confident and self-reliance after a century of strive.To strengthen the CPC’s ideological construction,especially the Party’s education of ideals and convictions is a key to unlock the mystery why the CPC has achieved so much.Today,standing at an important historical juncture of the world’s great changes unseen in a century and the overall strategy of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,we should review the educational theory and practice of ideals and convictions of the CPC in the new democratic revolution,sum up experience and lessons from history,and draw wisdom and strength.Undoubtedly,it has important historical significance and practical significance for the Communist Party of China to carry forward the tradition of the revolution,inherit the spirit of struggle and follow the road of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the New era.Taking the education of ideals and convictions of the Communist Party of China as the research basis,and the period of the new democratic revolution as the research perspective,this paper conducts a wide investigation and in-depth research on the education of ideals and convictions of the Party in the revolutionary period on the basis of learning from the research results of domestic and foreign scholars,summarizes the achievements and experience of the education of ideals and convictions of the CPC in the new democratic revolution,and aims to make exploration and provide enlightenment for strengthening and improving the education of the ideals and convictions in the New Era.For the research designs and methods,this paper closely arounds the basic question "why was the CPC successful in the past and how can it continue to succeed in the future",with the perspective of dialectical materialism and historical materialism position.Meanwhile,it follows the research principle of combination of theory and practice,international and domestic,history and Revolution of the Communist Party of China was a period of initial exploration of the Party’s education of ideals and convictions,the Agrarian Revolutionary War was a tortuous advance period,the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was a period of growing maturity,and the War of Liberation was a period of development and perfection.Fourthly,this paper reviews the theoretical and practical achievements of the Party’s education of ideals and convictions in the revolutionary period from the perspective of synchronicity.In theory,Party’s leaders and theorists published a lot of educational views and discussions on ideals and convictions.The CPC Central Committee and the people’s Army formulated and improved relevant rules and regulations,which effectively guided the revolutionary practice.In practice,adhering to the principle of seeking truth from facts,the Communist Party of China made specific arrangements for educators,subjects,contents and methods in light of the revolutionary situation and tasks in different periods and regions,effectively pushing forward the new democratic revolution.Finally,the paper deeply summarizes the experience and enlightenment of the the Party’s education of ideals and convictions in the new democratic revolution.The basic experience can be summarized in six aspects: the leadership of the Party is the fundamental guarantee of adhere to the theoretical arm and consolidate the ideological foundation of the education of ideals and convictions;In terms of stance,we should insist that the people come first and highlight the value orientation of the education of ideals and convictions;In principle,we should insist on seeking truth from facts and respect the development law of the education of ideals and convictions.In the aspect of ways,we should adhere to the integrity of innovation,enhance the actual effect of ideal and faith education;In the aspect of action,we should insist on practice and exercise to highlight the essential requirements of ideal and faith education.
