The ideological and political work is the lifeblood of our Party’s economicwork and all the other work, and the ideal and belief education is the kernel and"soul"of the party’s ideological and political education, also the center work of theideological and political work of the Communist Party of China. Party’s ideals andbeliefs education, during the war of liberation, got quite brilliant achievements inhistorical stages. Facing the complex international and domestic environment, theChinese Communist Party responded to the public that we would persist in peace,democracy and unity political position, meanwhile, educating the majority of partymembers, military and civilian, and the sessions of the peace-loving people withlofty ideals and firm belief, therefore, our party gained much help form broad massesof the people, and ushered in a completely new look of China ultimately.During the War of Liberation, theoretical and practical education of the party’sideals and beliefs is a solid source of strength and spiritual support of the masses ofsoldiers. At present, the academic research on education of the party’s ideals andbeliefs that took place in the War of Liberation is almost blank. On the basis ofcollecting, analyzing and summating the relevant materials, author tried tosystematically researching and generalizing the background, content, methods,principles and practice of the ideals and beliefs education during the War ofLiberation. According to the summary of the theory and practice in the special periodof the War of Liberation, this paper aims to provide with richer materials to theparty’s ideals and beliefs education in the new era.The article, with the guidance of Marxism-Leninism, uses the methods of thetheory and practice in relating, history and logic in unity to research the party’s idealsand beliefs education during the Liberation War. The thesis is divided into five parts:the first part which is the introduction part mainly expounds on the background ofthis study, reason, methods and innovation, the status quo, and related conceptsdefined; The second part briefly outlines the background of the party’s ideals andbeliefs education to the War of Liberation, including the contest of the future ofChina is a peaceful democratic feature or civil war and dictatorship, the Psychologyof the Masses, middle forces, policies that the Soviet Union and the United Statescarried out toward China, etc.; The third part elaborates the main content of the party’s ideals and beliefs education in the Liberation War in detail, covering the maincontent of the party’s ideals and beliefs education, principles and methods during thistime; Part IV generalizes and summarizes the practical activities of the party’s idealsand beliefs education during the War of Liberation in chronological order, whichconsists of a summary on the three stages of the activities of the initial stage on thevictory in the War of Resistance Against Japan, the round clash with the civil warfully broken out and the practice of victory about strategic decisive in sight; Part Vdiscusses the historical significance and modern enlightenment of the party’s idealsand beliefs education of the liberation war, which is not only the summary but alsothe sublimation part of the full text.
