A Study On The Centennial Practice And Basic Experience Of Strengthening Political Immunity Of The Communist Party Of China

Political immunity is the inherent ability of political subjects to consciously resist and eliminate political viruses to maintain physical healthy.It is also a health line of defense for political subjects to maintain political life.When any political subject is born,it will have its innate political immunity.However,political immunity is not permanent.As a revolutionary party,the Communist Party of China(CPC)has taken the initiative to strengthen its political immunity building since its birth.Since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,the Party Central Committee has repeatedly emphasized the importance and urgency of enhancing political immunity,and has taken it as an important content and goal of strengthening the Party’s political construction in the New Era.It can be said that enhancing political immunity is an eternal topic of the Party,and the centennial growth history of the CPC is a history of practical exploration of the Party’s continuous enhancement of political immunity.Therefore,on the centenary of the founding of the CPC,combing the history of its practice of enhancing political immunity and summarizing the centuries of experience not only meet the inherent requirements of the theoretical development and innovation for the proletarian Party building,but also satisfy the realistic needs to improve the quality of Party building and maintain the Party’s vitality and combat effectiveness.Firmly grasping the fundamental characteristic(“struggle”)and the inner function(“virus defense,error removal and self-improvement”)of CPC political immunity,basing on the distinctive dialectical thinking of “breaking before standing” and “breaking and standing simultaneously”,focusing on the Party’s great practice of consciously “eliminating all viruses that erode the Party’s healthy body”,this thesis carries out an in-depth study in four stages according to the Party’s historical characteristics.The first stage: the initial exploration of the Party’s practice of enhancing political immunity during the period of New Democratic Revolution.This stage was the growth period of our Party from weak to strong and from childish to mature.The viruses or diseases that eroded the Party’s health were mainly the poisonous grass of anarchism,the political dust of right opportunism,the inner-Party’s focus of infection of “left” dogma,and the inner-Party’s defects of subjectivism,sectarianism and the stereotyped Party writing and impure diseases.Therefore,the practice of strengthening the political immunity of the Party at this stage was mainly characterized by fighting various political viruses and inner-Party diseases,thereby maintaining the purity and unity of the Party,and firming the correct path of New Democratic Revolution.The second stage: the tortuous progress of the Party’s practice of enhancing political immunity during the period of Socialist Revolution and Construction.At this stage,the Party achieved its leading position in the country.Therefore,the practice of enhancing the political immunity of the Party at this stage was mainly characterized by Party consolidation,rectification and physical fitness,so as to consolidate the Party’s ruling position.However,in the process of Party consolidation and rectification,the serious error of “left” deviationism and the ideological impurities of the ultra-left ideology in the Party brought obstacles and setbacks to the Party’s practice of enhancing political immunity,thus making an arduous and tortuous path for the Party to maintain the unity of the Party and the foundation of socialism.The third stage: the in-depth development of the Party’s practice of strengthening political immunity in the new period of Reform and Opening Up.At this stage,the viruses or diseases that eroded the Party’s health were mainly the evil legacy of “left” deviationism error,the spiritual pollution of bourgeois liberalization thoughts and the Western peaceful evolution strategy,and the “Western social diseases”,such as money worship,hedonism and extreme individualism.At this stage,the Party’s practice of enhancing political immunity included both the fierce struggle against the political virus and the spiritual nutrition supplement featured by political belief education,in order to build up a good physique and improve health,thereby making the Party the strong leadership core of the people across the country in building socialism with Chinese characteristics.The fourth stage: the comprehensive promotion of the Party’s practice of enhancing political immunity in the new era.At this stage,the viruses or lesions that erode the Party’s healthy body are mainly the stubborn diseases represented by the “four evil ethos”,the corruption tumors and “chondrosis” of mental laziness.At this stage,the Party’s practice of enhancing political immunity emphasizes both the elimination of viruses and the prevention of pollution,insisting on the unremitting struggle against political viruses,laying stress on the Party’s consolidation and focusing on the realization of the comprehensiveness,institutionalization,routinization and normalization of physical fitness measures,thereby making the Party an indestructible body in strengthening the immunity and resistance to various unhealthy trends so as to achieve and strengthen the Party’s overall leadership.From the Party’s practice of enhancing political immunity in different historical periods,we find that the Party has encountered different political viruses in different historical periods and the Party’s understanding of political immunity has been gradually deepened.The practice also shows the distinctive characteristics of an in-depth development from unity to totality,the simultaneous advancement of grasping the minority and managing the majority,the organic combination of dailyness and concentration,and the dialectical unity of advancement and tortuousness.The centuries of practices of the Party’s strengthening of political immunity have not only created many successful experiences,formed our Party’s fine traditions and unique advantages,but also encountered some profound setbacks and hardened our Party’s revolutionary character and will.These experiences and setbacks together have become our Party’s precious wealth,and they have very important practical enlightenment for further strengthening the Party’s political immunity in the new era and new stage: firstly,we must firmly grasp Marxism,which is the Party’s basic weapon to distinguish and defend against all viruses;secondly,we must hold firm to the communist ideals and beliefs,which are the sources of nutrition for the Party’s physical fitness;thirdly,we must strengthen the construction of the Party’s organizational system,which is an important foundation for the Party’s physical fitness;fourthly,we must strengthen the political experience,which is an important way for the Party to build a healthy body;fifthly,we must often do political physical examination,which is a powerful weapon for the Party to maintain physical health;sixly,we must create a good political ecological environment,which is an important guarantee for the Party to maintain physical health.
