Research On Political Building Of The CPC In State-Owned Enterprises In The New Era

State-owned enterprises(SOEs)are an important material and political foundation of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and an important pillar of the Communist Party of China(hereinafter referred to as the "CPC" or the "Party")in governing and rejuvenating China.The political building is a fundamental element and determines the direction and effect of the building of the Party.Since the Party’s18th National Congress,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has attached great importance to strengthening the political building of the Party in SOEs,which has achieved remarkable results.At the same time,there are still some problems and shortcomings in the political building of the Party in SOEs.In the new era,the world is now undergoing momentous changes unseen in a century.Confronted with the arduous tasks of continuing reform and development and maintaining stability and the gaps and shortcomings of SOEs,the political building of the Party in SOEs must be strengthened to ensure the correct development direction of SOEs and guarantee the high-quality development of SOEs.This thesis takes the new era as the research background,SOEs as the research object,and the political building of the Party as the research perspective.In accordance with the general idea of defining the concept,analyzing the characteristics,consolidating the theory,reviewing the history,summarizing the experience,analyzing the current situation,and proposing countermeasures,this thesis comprehensively and systematically researches the issues related to the political building of the Party in SOEs in the new era by insisting on theories first,sticking to the reality,adopting a problem-oriented approach,and upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground.A variety of methods are used in the research,including literature review,historical analysis,empirical analysis,and survey research.Combining theory and practice,history and reality,philosophy and measures,and generality and specificity,the thesis presents both theoretical analysis and practical cases,both historical review and realistic situation,both conceptual ideas and practical measures,and both general requirements and specific countermeasures.This thesis focuses on answering important questions such as what is the political building of the Party in SOEs,why and how to strengthen the political building of the Party in SOEs in the new era.According to the logical idea of the Party building,political building of the Party,and political building of the Party in SOEs,the connotation of the political building of the Party in SOEs is defined clearly.This thesis elaborates the relationship between the political building of the Party and the ideological and political building of the Party,the political ecology building of the Party,the political culture building of the Party,and the democratic political building of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The distinctive features of the political building of the Party are elaborated in five dimensions: essential attributes,function,elements,fundamental impetus,and value standards.This thesis reviews the history of the political building of the Party in SOEs,summarizes the experience,analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings of political building of the Party in SOEs,and elaborates the significance of political building of the Party in SOEs in the new era from five perspectives: ensuring the correct development direction of SOEs,improving the modern SOE system with Chinese characteristics,consolidating the ruling position of the Party,exercising full and rigorous Party self-governance,and promoting the high-quality development of SOEs.Based on the comprehensive analysis and research,this thesis proposes the general requirements,main objectives,basic principles,and specific actions for the political building of the Party in SOEs in the new era.
