| In recent years,with the introduction and dissemination of western collective memory and its related terms,the question of how to construct collective memory research logic with Chinese characteristics through the experience and memory of Chinese groups has attracted increasing attention.Among them,to understand the memory narrative of the Zhiqing in the process of going to the mountains and the countryside,which puting forward the structural memory type is an important approach.On the basis of the existing research on the collective memory of Zhiqing,the main research methods of this study are literature research method and semi-structured Interviews method,throughing a theoretical analysis framework with“field change and specific memory narrative”as the point,“collective memory theory”as the line,and“Zhiqing’s collective memory”as the aspect,focuing on the“ Lao San Jie ” of the children of the middle school for the state-owned enterprise employee who entered the countryside in 1968.It deeply describes how the“Lao San Jie”who came from the same middle school and entered the same place at the same time,constructed their memory around the process of field change,and how is field change possible as a research perspective on collective memory of Zhiqing,specifically analyzed the motivation,process and influence of the formation of the experience of the Zhiqing of the research object;The changes in field and identity experienced by research subjects during their displacement from urban to rural areas and from rural areas;The mechanism of action of field and identity in the construction of collective memory of Zhiqing and to explore the theoretical and practical significance of the collective memory of the Zhiqing in the process of field change and other issues.Referring to the main viewpoints of the current academic circle involving the field,this study defines the field as the place that promotes the construction of the collective memory of the Zhiqing and the relationship and interaction between various subjects.Next,the field change mentioned in this study,on the one hand,refers to the change of location or space in the process of forming the collective memory of the Zhiqing.On the other hand,it refers to the changes in the dynamic relationship formed within the research object and between the research object and specific spaces such as cities,rural areas,collective households,and farmers.Historically,during the process of entering and leaving the countryside,the research subjects mainly experienced two field changes.One is to leave the city and the middle school for the children of workers and staff that they have attended to enter the countryside.When the subjects of the study entered the countryside,the changes from“children”to“Zhiqing”,from“students”to“peasants”,from“students”to“heads of households”,from“classmates”to“family members”,from multiple identities to “we” and other identity changes.In the process of acquiring multiple identities such as“Zhiqing”“farmers”“family”and“we”,the new social network of research objects is gradually formed.Because before entering the countryside,many unforgettable experiences happened in the middle school for the children of workers,therefore,in order to ensure the logic,integrity and accuracy of the collective memory of the Zhiqing of the research subjects,when examining the collective memory of the Zhiqing,we must take the middle school for the children of workers as a starting point.In the process of adapting and integrating into rural life,farmers have increasingly become an important socialized subject,and after rural areas have become the main socialized field,the social cognition of the research objects has also been continuously expanded.At the same time,the experiences of“we build houses and settle down in the countryside”“we work hard in the countryside”“we purify the atmosphere in the countryside”“we follow the customs in the countryside ” immediately became a component of the collective memory of Zhiqing.It can be seen how it is possible for the countryside to be the core field of the collective memory of Zhiqing.The second is to be transferred out of the countryside.Since 1970,the research subjects have left the countryside one afteranother through the procedure of “ appearance of selected indicators — —indicators descend to the grassroots level by level——internal election of Zhiqing— — recommendation by production teams — — approval by communes and higher-level danwei——completed selection”.Enter new fields such as“oil field”“danwei of state-owned enterprise”“school”and“army”and after obtaining new identities such as“oil worker”“danwei worker”“student”and“soldier”,theywent to a different life path.From this,on the one hand,it can be seen that when the research subjects enter and leave the countryside,the field in which they are exposed is always in dynamic change.In addition,urban areas,middle school for the children of state-owned enterprise Employees,rural areas,and collective households have formed a certain relationship in promoting the construction of collective memory of Zhiqing.On the other hand,we can see the impact of field changes on the identity changes of the research subjects and the changes in the relationship between Zhiqing and multiple subjects.As mentioned above,the rich collective memory of Zhiqing generated by field changes has created an opportunity to embed collective memory theory and improve the academic rationality of Zhiqing collective memory research,especially provides an important entry point for investigating the relationship between field,identity and collective memory construction.Judging from the memory narrative of the research subjects,they mainly remembered their identities and experiences in the countryside,and placed their identities such as Zhiqing,oil workers and danwei workers in rural areas,oil fields,danwei and other fields to memory construct.In this process,identity and field are intertwined,forming a memory network,and the experience of Zhiqing is presented.From this,we can imagine the logical process of identity,field mutual construction,and the reproduction of the collective memory of Zhiqing:after the field,identity and their inner relationship are written into collective memory,the recaller can enter a specific historical field through a certain identity to complete the reconstruction of the collective memory.Following the above logic,firstly,it is clear that changes in the field will lead to changes in identity and the memory narrative of Zhiqing and other relevant subjects;Secondly,it is clear that how identity is possible as a fulcrum for collective memory construction.Therefore,using identity as a fulcrum to study collective memory,especially the relationship between individual memory and collective memory under the same identity,will become an important logical approach to collective memory research.Thirdly,it is clear that how“field memory”and“identity memory”are possible as collective memory types of Zhiqing.To be more specific,the“field memory”and“identity memory”mentioned here are formed through the existing research results of collective memory and the collective memory of Zhiqing.Among them,“field memory”mainly refers to the memory formed by the recaller around the relationship between subjects and elements within a field or among multiple fields,and is one of the types of collective memory.And“identity memory”mainly refers to the process and result of recalling abstract and concrete identities,which is one of the types of collective memory;Fourth,it can be made clear that“field change”can not only be used as an important perspective for the study of the collective memory of the Zhiqing,but also as a social framework for the Zhiqing group to construct their collective memory.To sum up,the Zhiqing are not only“witnesses”who go to the mountains and the countryside,but also“living words”that are indispensable in academic research.To examine the collective memory of Zhiqing from the perspective of field change,which is systematic,dynamic,procedural and related,it not only helps to expand the field of collective memory research of Zhiqing,provides some new ideas for the formation of collective memory research logic with Chinese characteristics,and it can also be compared with the collective memory of other Zhiqing groups,guide the collective memory research of“Western Project”volunteers and other similar groups of Zhiqing,provide a basic text for associations around the relationship between youth and social development. |
