The Influence Of Network Youth Subculture On Political Values Of College Students And Its Countermeasures

Network youth subculture is an important representation of youth culture in the background of the Internet era,which reflects the ideational pursuit of individuality and freedom of the youth group,and belongs to the youth culture.Network youth subculture,as a cultural form created,transmitted and consumed by the youth group with the aim of resisting the mainstream culture or dominating culture by relying on the network media,is the mainstream culture of the youth group.Young college students are in the critical period of life growth,knowledge structure is still to be enriched,the world outlook,outlook on life,values are not mature,curiosity about new things,plenty of free time,forward thinking but lack of discrimination,psychological fragile and easy to impulsive,so that they are very easy to accept and be affected by external things.Network youth subculture appears in the entertainment,leisure and consumption fields of college students in the form of mild resistance.Unlike counterculture,which is direct and has clear goals,and unlike negative culture,which is in a state of social anomia.Network youth subculture is more a supplement to mainstream culture,attracting and gathering young college students with its unique charm.It influences college students’ ideas,value orientation and behavior patterns in an imperceptible way and impacts their inherent value and theoretical system.In the new era,it is of great significance to study the influence of network youth subculture on the political values of college students,take active measures to help college students form the correct stance,viewpoint and attitude when dealing with various value issues,guide college students to view network youth subculture correctly,and cultivate the new force conducive to the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.This study is divided into six parts:In the first part,starting from the topic selection of the paper,the existing research results are comprehensively reviewed.On the basis of fully absorbing the existing research results,the research depth is expanded,the disciplinary background is extended,and the countermeasures are broadened,forming the research context of“theoretical analysis-representation dialysis-mechanism analysis-current situation analysis-countermeasures”,and a variety of research methods are adopted to strive to break through the key points and difficulties of the research.The second part,defines the concepts related to the research topic,further summarizes the concepts of the network youth subculture and the political values of college students on the basis of the existing research at home and abroad,innovatively analyzes the internal correlation between the network youth subculture and the political values of college students,and further discusses the possibility and reality of the interaction between the two.The third part,based on the current situation of the development of Chinese network youth subculture in the new era,conducts a thorough analysis from three aspects:main form,style construction way and time characteristics,in order to fully understand and grasp the reality of Chinese Internet youth subculture.Based on Raymond Williams’ three definitions of culture,the Internet youth subculture is divided into three types : alternative cultural creation,unconventional life style and mixed interactive process.In the construction of style,there are four main ways of collage,isomorphism,ideographic practice and style supermarket.The various ways of construction are the main reasons of Chinese network youth subculture styles.At the same time,four groups of typical characteristics of network youth subculture contradicting and interweaving with each other make them appear in the form of contradiction and entanglement in the formation process of political values of college students,and become the main cultural forms affecting political values of college students.In the fourth part,it explores the principle of the influence of the network youth subculture on the political values of college students,presents the structural schema of the influence of the network youth subculture on the political values of college students from the viewpoint of system theory and structural functionalism,and defines the relationship among the three elements within the system.Through the mechanism analysis of the influence system,it is found that the network youth subculture participates in and influences the formation of college students’ political values from three aspects: society,culture and individual.In the social subsystem,the network youth subculture transmits different political values through content production,network communication and popular consumption,and influences the thought and behavior of college students.In the cultural subsystem,the network youth subculture deconstructs and constructs the identity of political values of college students by squeezing the cultural space,reshaping the cultural environment and fitting the cultural needs.In the individual subsystem,the network youth subculture tries to change the individual political cognitive structure,adjust the structure of political sentiment,interfere with the orientation of political behavior,affect the knowledge and sentiment of college students,and change the original political values of college students.In the fifth part,through questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and network observation methods,thoroughly examine the influence of network youth subculture on the political values of college students.Explore the college students who are very skilled in the use of the Internet,and under the normal life of Internet+learning,socializing and shopping,and boosted by online learning+content,online social interaction+content,online shopping + content and other modes,and pay extensive attention to and actively participate in the practice of network youth subculture.To understand the attitude of college students towards the network youth subculture and the influence of the network youth subculture as an emotional community on college students.Through in-depth investigation,it is found that college students pay different attention to different styles of network youth subculture,the influence of network youth subculture on college students’ political values is concealed,and the influence of different styles of network youth subculture on college students’ political values is different.From the perspective of overall influence,the network youth subculture has both positive and negative influences on the political values of college students.The mainstreaming turn,innovative development,fluidity trend and resistance resolution of the network youth subculture have a positive effect on the political values of college students,which helps them to firm their political stance,enhance the sense of political trust,enhance the enthusiasm of political participation,and form a positive political behavior bias.The marginalized dissemination,entertainment carnival,circle barriers and negative inclusiveness of the network youth subculture have a negative effect on the political values of college students,which is easy to weaken the sense of political efficacy,affect the bias of political behavior,interfere with the judgment of political value and reduce the political satisfaction.From the overall result of the influence,the influence of the network youth subculture on the political values of college students has the characteristics of duality and concealment due to its broad audience,diversity of paths,immediacy of communication and fragmentation of content.The sixth part,based on the analysis of the current situation of the influence of network youth subculture on the political values of college students,analyzes the countermeasures of the influence of network youth subculture on the political values of college students from five aspects.The reason why the network youth subculture can have a positive impact on the political values of college students is that it conforms to the development requirements of the new media era,conforms to the development direction of mainstream culture,and meets the needs of college students to grow and become talented.The negative effects are caused by the lack of core guidance in some online youth subcultures,which are far from the mainstream culture,the bursting of entertainment spirit and the lack of rational thinking,and the flood of independent creation with uneven quality.To expand the positive influence of network youth subculture and eliminate the negative influence of network youth subculture,we need to strengthen the guiding power of mainstream culture,regulate the order of cyberspace,improve the media literacy of young people,shape the new pattern of mainstream public opinion,and improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.Only by making comprehensive efforts in multiple fields and channels,strengthening the comprehensive management of the network youth subculture,and promoting the formation of a good network ecology,can we consolidate and strengthen the mainstream ideas and public opinions of forging ahead in the new era,and guide the healthy and orderly development of the network youth subculture.
