Reconstructing Moral Order:field Investigation On Folk Sports Organizations Participate In The Mobilization Of Rural Revitalization In Lin Village Of Southern Fujian

Under the rapid changes of society,Scholars have realized that local knowledge such as moral norms and values contained in folk traditional sports culture is of great significance to promoting modern rural construction,also have noticed that with the transformation of government functions in China,folk sports organizations are actively participating in social mobilization and social governance in village as an important social force.However,based on existing research,It is not enough attention has been paid to the issue that the process and action logic and mechanism of social mobilization which the folk sports organizations participate in with the help of traditional sports.Based on Durkheim’s theory of social solidarity,this paper made a field investigation on the folk sports organizations in lin village participating in the process of rural revitalization mobilization,and analyzed the logic and mechanism of the mobilization.During the process of social mobilization,the folk sports organizations hold a series of cultural practices by reviving Song-jiang battle and relying on it’s cultural spirit,such as establishing a home for the elderly in the village,originating Song-jiang battle ritual and martial arts into the campus,and holding folk martial arts competitions with heterogeneous organizations among the villages.It aims to promote dualistic social solidarity theory to a certain extent,make up for its lack of explanatory power in rural society in china,and contribute support from the sports field to the realization of the goal of rural revitalization through effective village style and civilization governance.It is found that the folk sports organizations participate in social mobilization experienced homogeneity mobilization to heterogeneity mobilization,then to the composite mobilization,and the process of social mobilization is accompanied by the formal transformation of social solidarity.The folk sports organizations participate in homogeneous mobilization lead to the formation of mechanical solidarity within village,participate in heterogeneous mobilization promotes the formation of organic solidarity among villages,participate in composite mobilization promotes the village to move towards mechanical solidarity based on organic solidarity.Analysis also believed that the folk sports organizations reconstruct individual morality by participating in homogeneous mobilization,construct the morality among the organizations by participating in heterogeneous mobilization,strengthen individual morality by participating in composite mobilization,the collective consciousness based on the new social morality is gathered inside the village.Thus it reveals the inner logic of reconstruction of moral order by the folk sports organization in the village.Analysis also showed that the mechanism of reconstruction of moral order in the village lies in the accumulating lots of social capital by homogeneous social mobilization and heterogeneous social mobilization,which building a close social participation network within village and among villages.By long-term combined social mobilization,the social capital accumulated by the folk sports organizations for villages is still increasing.In addition,there are two differences between the conclusions drawn in this paper and previous studies.Firstly,It’s different from the previous conclusions of linear thinking about social mobilization,the progress of social mobilization that the folk sports organizations participate in does not exist in dual being of mechanical solidarity and organic solidarity,which contain a transitional stage of chaos.The chaotic state can be roughly corresponding to the collapse of mechanical solidarity within village due to the withdrawal of the people’s commune system with the reform and opening up,to the period that the establishment of mechanical solidarity until the market economy sweep through the countryside.Secondly,it is different from Durkheim’s cognition that heterogeneous social mobilization lead to organic solidarity in modern society.In this case,while the folk sports organizations participate in heterogeneous social mobilization by holding competitions among the villages,homogeneous social mobilization is also carried out within the village.Thus,the coexistence of homogeneous social mobilization and heterogeneous social mobilization has been formed,and the homogeneous social mobilization has been further consolidated.Based on this case study,some suggestions inspired are following,which are intended to provide some theoretical reference and experience for rural resilience construction.First of all,it should be realized to pay more attention to the active role of traditional sports culture in leading rural construction.Promoting the inheritance,innovation and development of traditional sports culture in the new era,which is not only conducive to the all-round development of contemporary youth,but also conducive to the construction of rural spiritual civilization,and which lays a foundation for the realization of the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas and the village towards good governance.Secondly,it’s important to cultivate mobilization ability of folk sports organizations in rural social governance.Folk sports organizations is not only the organizer and carrier in countryside social practice activities,is also a link of rural social capital,giving full play to the mobilization ability of folk sports organizations is conducive to innovating the grassroots social governance model,and building a rural governance pattern of joint construction,joint governance and shared benefits.The last but not the least,it’s necessary to build a participatory space for the moral practice of traditional sports culture.Folk sports organizations integrate local knowledge contained in traditional sports culture into villagers’ daily life,and build a governance system combining moral governance and autonomy with rule of law,which is conducive to relieving government pressure,reducing grassroots governance costs and forming a good rural governance cycle.
