In the new era,gradually realizing the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry is not only the main direction of promoting the transformation of old and new kinetic energy and steadily realizing the supply side structural reform,but also the inevitable choice to continuously promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.However,the process of deeply promoting the deep integration of manufacturing industry and artificial intelligence and systematically promoting the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry is restricted by the absence of key core technologies,which is not only reflected in the manufacturing industry,but also reflected in the related industrial system of the manufacturing industry chain.In addition,with the increasing complexity of the global economic situation,comprehensively and systematically breaking the shackles of key core technologies,so as to promote the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry has become the key to rejuvenate the development vitality of the real economy,and the support of artificial intelligence technology provides an opportunity for this process.Therefore,under the background of AI empowerment,taking the manufacturing industry as the center and the differentiated production links and heterogeneous industrial sectors as the network,systematically exploring the impact of key core technology breakthroughs on the intelligent upgrading of the manufacturing industry has become the focus of research,and the solution of this problem will also contribute to the further realization of sustained and high-quality economic development,It has rich theoretical and practical significance to build a new power engine for the development of real economy.The blessing of artificial intelligence technology has reshaped the key technological breakthroughs of manufacturing industry and its related industrial sectors.Specifically,in the three levels of single production link,differentiated production link and heterogeneous industrial sectors,it can be summarized as "machine learning" mechanism,"network collaborative manufacturing" mode and "modern flexible production" mode.In a single production link,with the deepening and expansion of artificial intelligence technology,"machine learning" mechanism derived from it provides a new way for key technology breakthrough and subsequent production technology evolution process,which makes the bottleneck and forward-looking characteristics of key technology breakthrough more prominent,and also makes the evolution process of production technology after the realization of key technology breakthrough more obvious The characteristics of gradual evolution and scale effect.In the process of differentiated production,the penetration of "network collaborative manufacturing" mode enabled by artificial intelligence into technology R & D department makes the traditional mode of "series" key technology breakthrough and production technology R & D turn into "parallel" mode.The choice of technology symbiosis relationship between differentiated production links has become a key factor affecting the effect of key technology breakthrough driving intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry Key factors.In heterogeneous industries,the "modern flexible production" mode derived from artificial intelligence technology makes the strong technical barriers between industries weaker and weaker.The manufacturing industry will always face the market penetration threat of the former industrial sectors before the application of artificial intelligence technology and modern flexible production mode.The key technology breakthrough of potential industrial sectors will affect the process of intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry It produces the backward force effect which is different from the past.Therefore,in the aspect of empirical research,through the multi-layer nested general equilibrium model which contains the elements of artificial intelligence and reflects the key technology breakthrough layer by layer,on the basis of achieving a better fit to the real economy,from the three levels of single production link,differentiated production link and heterogeneous industry sector,respectively based on the "machine learning" mechanism under the artificial intelligence“ From the perspective of "network collaborative manufacturing" mode and "modern flexible production" mode,this paper analyzes the effect of key technology breakthrough driving the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry in different environments.The main conclusions of this paper can be summarized as follows:(1)for a single manufacturing intelligent production link and its supporting non intelligent production link,under the "machine learning" mechanism given by artificial intelligence,the key technology breakthroughs of both can promote the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry,but compared with the research and development of general technology,the key technology breakthroughs show the following characteristics(2)with the deepening and expansion of artificial intelligence technology and the increasing popularity of "machine learning",the improvement of the evolution rate of production technology in the corresponding production links can significantly improve the performance of the key technology breakthroughs in the intelligent production links and the non intelligent production links of the manufacturing industry in driving the intelligent upgrading of the manufacturing industry However,the rapid evolution rate of production technology accompanied by the high degree of popularization will make the upper limit of restraining key technology breakthrough and promoting the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry;(3)at the level of differentiation,the key technology breakthrough originated from the intelligent production link or non intelligent production link of manufacturing industry is more mutually beneficial than symbiosis In terms of relationship,it is difficult to give full play to its role in promoting the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry,whether it is the symbiotic relationship of partial profit,parasitic symbiosis in the short term or the symbiotic relationship of concurrent and competitive symbiosis in the longer term;(4)under the "modern flexible production" mode enabled by artificial intelligence,it comes from the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing sector and other potential industrial sectors The key technology breakthroughs in the energy production link can effectively promote the process of intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry,the former is more direct effect,while the latter emphasizes the backward effect;(5)although there are differences in the specific effect,with the development of "modern flexible production" mode under the artificial intelligence enabling,the level of expansion flexibility and technology flexibility has increased The promotion will significantly improve the effect of key technology breakthroughs in intelligent production of manufacturing sector and other potential industrial sectors driving the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry.The main contributions of this paper are as follows:(1)from the perspective of AI enabling,we explore the impact of key technology breakthroughs on the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry in the new era;(2)we try to introduce the logistic evolution function into the multi-layer nested general equilibrium model to reflect the bottleneck and forward-looking characteristics of key technologies under AI enabling;(3)innovation Based on the new evolutionary symbiosis model and the dynamic general equilibrium analysis framework,and based on the counterfactual test,this paper comparatively explores the effect of key technology breakthroughs on the intelligent upgrading of manufacturing industry under different technological symbiosis relationships;(4)the "modern flexible production" mode is introduced under the background of artificial intelligence enabling,from the perspective of technological flexibility This paper explores the mediating effect of modern flexible production on the effect of key technology breakthrough from the two levels of industrialization level and expansion flexibility level.
