The endowment insurance is an important means to guarantee the livelihood of senior citizens. The effects of its operation directly affect the actual living conditions of the elderly, and affects the security and stability of a country or a region.Since the founding of new China, the endowment insurance career has been established, and gained worldwide success. However,we should also see that it still has chronic problems such as system fragmentation and low level of overall planning. These factors restrict the overall development level of the endowment insurance, also lead to the unbalanced development in different provinces and cities. The concept of shared development advocated by the state calls for promoting equitable distribution of social wealth so that everyone can enjoy the fruits of social and economic development. It points out the value orientation and striving direction of our society. The shared development is the ideal state of social development in China, and it is also an important idea to evaluate the process of the social development,or to test the level of the development. The shared development level of the basic pension insurance proposed in this study refers to a form to study and evaluate the comprehensive development level of the basic pension insurance in China from the perspective of shared development. It embodies one aspect of comprehensive development level of the basic endowment insurance in China.Starting from the perspective of shared development, this paper comprehensively evaluates the shared development level of basic pension insurance in China, and excavates the regional difference and correlation of the shared development level of basic pension insurance in various provinces.Firstly, the study first explains the connotation of the two basic attributes of "shared development",and then sorts the thoughts on shared development of socialism and summarizes the basic characteristics.Secondly, from the basic characteristics of the thoughts of shared development,it establishes the comprehensive index system for the shared development level of basic pension insurance in China, and measures the shared development indexes of the basic pension insurance in China and 31 provinces in 11 years.Thirdly, this paper explores the overall characteristics and development trend of the sharing development level in national basic endowment insurance, conducts cluster analysis of panel data on the indexes of all provinces and cities, and analyzes the average rank change of it.Finally, the analysis method of exploratory spatial data is used to explore the spatial distribution types, regional differences and the differences in spatial and temporal evolution. This research mainly adopts the literature research method, the historical analysis method, the comparative analysis method and the exploratory spatial data analysis method. The basic data of the study mainly come from “China Statistical Yearbook”,“China Labor Statistics Yearbook”,“China Population and Employment Statistics Yearbook”,“China Pension Development Report”,etc. The data of each indicator variable is calculated on the basic data.In order to control the quality of index data, this study adopts the "winsorization" method to deal with outliers, and uses the linear interpolation method to make up for individual missing values. In order to eliminate the dimensional difference and order of magnitude influence of different indicator variables and make the data comparable, this study standardizes all indicator data. The study found that: the development level of basic endowment insurance sharing in China is generally at a lower medium level. The development levels of all provinces and cities are quite different, showing the characteristics of nonequalization.Per capita disposable income has a significant role in promoting the shared development level of basic endowment insurance. The main conclusions are as follows.Firstly, the shared development index of basic endowment insurance in China is generally lower than the medium level, but its development momentum is good, and it shows an overall growth trend.Secondly, the shared development level of basic endowment insurance varies greatly among regions, showing the characteristics of non-equilibrium.Thirdly,most provinces and cities in China are in the "backward areas," and the ranking of the shared development index of basic endowment insurance in each region fluctuates greatly, which shows that the implementation of the national endowment insurance policy varies greatly.Fourthly, the shared development level of basic endowment insurance in China shows a positive spatial autocorrelation, and the overall performance is a trend of club convergence.Fifthly, there are four spatial structure types in the local space of all provinces and cities, but the homogeneous spatial structure type is the main one.Sixthly, per capita disposable income has a significant role in promoting the shared development level of basic endowment insurance, but from the perspective of impact effect, per capita disposable income has a more significant effect on the economically underdeveloped areas. There are three innovations in this study.Firstly, from the perspective of "shared development",this study establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system to measure the shared development level of China’s basic endowment insurance for the first time.Secondly, the spatial weight coefficient is introduced to combine the development index of basic endowment insurance sharing for the first time。The spatial distribution characteristics of the development level of basic endowment insurance sharing in the whole country and each region are explored.Thirdly,by constructing the spatial panel data error model, this study finds that per capita disposable income has a significant role in promoting the development level of China’s basic endowment insurance, and its impact on the less developed areas is more significant.
