ABSTRACT:GPS (Global Position System) is widely used in military application and people's daily lives, it has numerous benefits such as high precision, all-weather, global coverage and so on. It is a great work benefiting mankind and science and plays an irreplaceable part as a milestone.First the components and the current stats of satellite navigation system were summarized, and the current mainly several satellite navigation systems and their stats were also illuminated. Then the operational principle of GPS receiver was briefly introduced. GPS system components features, interference immunity, dependability and accuracy of GPS receiver were introduced according to GPS signal process. Second system simulation as the theme, Visual Studio 2008 as the development environment and C++as development language, GPS receiver simulation platform was built. Receiving process would be simulated by changing interference signal and correlation threshold to investigate the anti-jamming capability of the system. At the same time, the principle of signal transmitter was simulated by the Simulink Toolbox of Matlab. Third, NMEA0183 protocol as output format of GPS equipment was introduced here. And in the development environment of Visual Studio 2008, a data processing and plotting application and a data transmission interface of receiver were built. Open area chosen as experimental circumstance and AR-110 G-MOUSE receiver as experimental subject, the interference experiments were carried out to analyze the manifestation of experimental subject and come to a conclusion about GPS system anti-jamming capability. At last an application of GPS positioning was developed, it can show the electromagnetic environment of Beijing Jiaotong University map.
