By using seismic, well drilling/logging, core sampling and some relative data andconferring former study achievements of other researchers, this paper examines theSedimentary facies and reservoir features of Mesozoic in Aer Sag of Erlian Basin andforecasts the favorable reservoir and facies belt in this area based on the theory ofSedimentologyandPetroleumgeology.Based on a lot of drilling sections, seismic sections, core observations, field exposuresections andpetrological analysis, weform theframeworkofseismicexplainingprofileinthis area, and explain structural profiles of seismic profiles here. We finish stratadistributing map of Mesozoic. And definite the structural features of Mesozoic in Aer sag.Based on the explanation of three dimensional seism data on Landmark workstation, wegot new realization on structure and sequence evolution, which direct the study ofsedimentaryfaciesdistributing.TheMesozoicsedimentaryfaciesofAersagisdividedintofan delta , alluvial fan and lacustrine facies, and then subdivided into 5 subfacies and 7microfacie based on the seismic and well drilling/logging data, and so on. After observeand describe the cores of 4 wells, we analyze sedimentary facies of single wells andestimate the reservoir, and then complete the sedimentary facies plan and reservoirforecast.Through the methods of core observation, core sampling and other experimentalanalysis, it is found that the Mesozoic sedimentary facies of Aer sag has undergone somediageneses like compaction, cementation and dissolution. The diagenetic stage is in theearly period of B. As well as discuss petroleum prospect in this region, combined tostructuraltraps.Tenggeer formation Cretaceous system is the main reservoir here, is generally thick sediments of sand-conglomerate degree, whose psephicity varies medium, and mid sorted, and composition maturity medium, and structure maturity is medium. The sandstone'svoids are mainly secondary voids. The reservoir is mainly low void-low permeability andvery low void-very low permeability types. Oil deposits here have good reservoir-cappingequipment, quite stable extent, and quite poor physical property. It's comprehensivelyestimatedasmidreservoir. The optimized areas is the hill traps of Mesozoic in the central and east of the sag, complexstructurebeltandlithologictraps.
