Application Research Of GIS Technology In Urban Planning Management Information System

As a combination of geographical information system (GIS) and urban planning, Urban Planning Management Information System provide a quick and effective means of information acquisition and management for urban planning and management, so as to improve continuously the efficiency and level of planning and management work. Based on the in-depth study related technology of urban planning and management information system, oriented the urban planning and management work in big-medium cities, this paper proposed applications of urban planning and management information system with GIS technology.Department of urban planning and management have the power to approve land use for urban construction units and implement approval and management functions of "a book and two cards" (construction project site selection, construction land planning license, construction project planning permit) in urban planning and management, the daily operational work of planning and management department is carried out around this approval management functions. All geospatial data and system management tables of the system stored in Oracle10g, achieving the way storage of a full relationship, the use of large-scale relational database management system technology can build more efficiently a geographical information spatial database.In the process of the office, department of urban planning and management not only deal with and based a lot of text data, such as the construction project returns, the relevant approvals, but also refer to a large number of graphics data in the approval process, such as overall planning, control detailed regulation and etc. how to achieve the integration management of text and spatial data, to achieve the seamless integration truly of office automation (Office Automation) and GIS in interface, function and data, and to achieve "Graphic-attributes Integration "of the urban planning management information system is also the focus of this study.Finally, according to the needs of urban planning department in xi'an Chanba ecological zone, this paper designed and realized database and system functionality of the urban planning and management information system.
