In this study, lactic acid bacteria was isolated from the samples of two-humped camel milk and milk products collected from the west desert and half-desert areas of Inner Mongoiar. Its biological properties were also studied. 48 strains of bacteria were isolated from 11 samples, among them, 30 strains were lactic acid bacteria. According to the morphological character~. Physiological and biochemical reaction and sugar fermentation character, they respectively belonged to 4 genus: Lactobadlllus Lactococcus~Enterococcus and Leuconostoc and 14 species: 1 strain of L. delbrueckii subsp. Lactis, 5 strains of L. casei subsp.casei , 4 strains of L. plantarum, 1 strain of L.casei subsp.pseudoplantarum~ L.farmentum~ L.curvatus and Lactobacillu acidophilus Group respectively,2 strains of Enterococcus faecalis, 1 strain of Enterococcus avium,2 strains of Enterococcus durans,2 strains of Leu.mesenteroides subsp.dextranium and 1 strain of Leu.mesenteroides subsp. mesenteroides. In this study, chemical classification, for example optical form of lactic acid and cell wall determination, were applied besides morphology and physiological and biochemical tests. The results revealed that *he superier bacteria in the samples were Enterococcus. Leuconostoc and medium-temperature Lactobadilus, including L. casei subsp. casei and L. plantarum. Most strains had weak acid-producing abilities and need a long time to solidify milk. In addition, most coccus were heat-stable.
