On the base of the traditional BPM-I,II time receiver,and by the deeply studied of the theory of Software Radio (SWR) and time receiver,we present the short-wave time receiver design on the concept of Software Radio. Firstly,we introduce the fundament theory of digital quadrature modulation and digital filter,we also introduce the concept and the key technology of Software,including smart antenna,AD,sampling,digital down sample theory. It' s very important to understand this theory. Subsequently,we introduce two common designs and its supported hardware,and we also present a new design based on SWR. This design keep the twice frequency transform and the superheterodyne structure in analog receiver,and use programmable Direct Digital Synthesizer(DOS) in RF section. Use this method,we can not only inherit the advantage of high sensitivity and high selection in traditional design,but also improve the automation of the equipment. In demodulation,we use the digital signal processing technology (DSP),this will help to reduce the dimension of equipment,and improve its performance and compatibility. In time signal processing,we present a time examination method named digital middle point examination,and simplify the circuit. In addition,the Simulink simulation environment and mathematical model of single-channel Digital receiver are introduced in this paper,we do a lot of simulation of this design and get some curves about its. These curves show this design is correct and the SWR technology will play a important role in timing receiver.
