This present work deals with the systematic research on the subfamily Cicadellinae from China. It consists of three sections at large. A list of species with synonym and distributions in Part 1 includes 1 new record, 1 new synonym and the following 6 new species: Anatkina.biharpa A. sinuosa, A.trifurcata, Atkinsoniella platoangula, Bothrogonia unicolor, B.vietnamana. Keys to generic and specific taxa and illustrations of key characters are also included in this part. Part 2 inclusively relegates and analyses general distributions of the Chinese Cicadellinae in the 6 world zoogeographic areas and 7 Chinese zoogeographic regions. Part 3 tentatively studies the cladistic of 22 genera occurring in China and all the works are finished by using Hennig 86 software which is provided by Dr. Wei of Central South Foresty University. The followings are the descriptions of 6 new species.1. Anatkina biharpa, n.sp. (fig. 7)Length of male 12.0mm, inclu. tegm. 15.5mm.Color of head, pronotum, scutellum whitish yellow; head moderately produced, anterior truncate in dorsal view; crown, with a median black butterfly-shaped marking between ocelli touching posterior margin and a black spot on anterior margin; ocelli black, on a line between anterior eye angles; pronotal width slightly more than transocular width of head, with a transverse black marking occasionally interrupted near posterior margin; scutellum nearly triangular, with black spots at basal and two lateral angles; clypeus with muscle impressions distinct, with a U-shaped marking bordering or through transclypeal suture which is distinct medially; head with median length of crown approximately three-fourths pronotal width. Forewings orange, with anteapical portions faint brown, each with two black spots in clavus and three black markings in corium; Legs pale yellow, only apical portions of femora, tibiae, digitus black.Male genitalia: vecter of male black, disk with sparse pale pulverulent spots, only abdominal sternum VIII pale yellow; pygofer broadly, nearly rectilinear of apical margin, with multiseriate macrosetae at apical half; pygofer process broadly at base, nearly equal to width of pygofer, curved medially, and acute at apex, with two dissimilar angular projection at subapical portions; plate with base broadly, abruptly narrowed at apex and curved dorsal; connective U-shaped; style slender, with process angulate medially; aedeagus curved strongly posterodorsad; paraphysis straightly stretched out, slightly angular at apex.Holotype , GuangXi: Mount. Daqing of Luzhou, July, 1964, Wang Liangcheng. Paratype 1 , same date. This species is very similar to A.incwata, but differ in pygofer process with two asymmetrical angular process near apex and the markings of pronotum is also different.2. Anatkina sinuosa, n.sp (fig. 8)Length of male 7.3mm, inclu.tegm 9.7mm.Head, pronotum, scutellum brightly orange. Head moderately produced; ocelli black, aligned with anterior eye angles; crown, with a median black marking at midlength before ocelli and a black spot on anterior margin; clypeus flat medially, with muscle impressions distinct, and with a apparently black marking on each side; clypellus with dull black spot, longitudinal process at midlength distinct; pronotal width greater than transocular width of head, with anterior margin rounded and posterior margin tetraundulated, and with two black spots near anterior margin; scutellum with three black spots. Forewingsbrightly orange, with tails castaneous, each with four irregular black markings.Male genitalia: venter of male black; pygofer nearly rectiangular, with multiseriate macrosetae at apical half; pygofer broadly, almost equal to width of pygofer, each curved at lateral margin, with a angular process at apex, and extending as far posteriorly as apex of pygofer; plate broadly at base, gradually narrowed posteriorly and curved abruptly dorsad; style nearly S-shaped, angular at apex; connective Y-shaped; aedeagus curved strongly posterodorsad, tapered and acute at apex; paraphysis curved do...
