The paper comprises 3 parts: morphologic taxonomy, faunal analysis and population dynamics of Rutelidae in Fujian Province, China. The results showed as follows:1. Morphologic ClassificationThe species of Rutelidae in Fujian Province had been collected and recorded, including 8 genera and 55 species. The investigation, morphology and biology of Rutelidae were briefly reviewed. The key to 6 genera of Rutelidae in Fujian were given. The character of 4 genus, Adoretus.Popillia, Mimela and Anomala ,were described in detail. Specific characters were described for other genera, because of having only one specimen.2. Faunal AnalysisThis paper dealt with the faunal structures of Rutelidae in Fujian province at species level. According to the distribution of terrestrial zoogeographic regions in world. Oriental species were the most dominant species in all 55 known Rutelidae species in Fujian, the second was common ones. The Palaearctic species were rarely recorded. In seven Chinese Zoogeographic subregion, all these known species composed 13 types of distribution. Most species belong to the distribution of Middle-South China, the second were South-Southwest China. Comparing with the species to other province in China, the most species similituded to Guangdong, Guangxi,Zhejiang and Jiangxi Province.3. Population dynamicsThe population dynamics of Rutelidae in Fujian were analysised. There were 3 dominant species: Anomala cupripes, Anomala virens and Adoretus sinicus, in 78.5% of the total catches.
