| Geography is the science that studies the interaction, relation and the law in space-time of the top layer natural elements and humane elements of the earth. Modern geography has expanded and deepened its research field constantly, made unprecedented progress on theory method and technology and formed a large of science systems, including physical geography, humane geography and GIS. Nowadays, sustainable development and global change are two principal themes of geography. Studying the development and change of LUCC by means of GIS has become one of the main trends of geography under this background. The research of the price of land, especially that of datum price is the important part of LUCC. This paper sets up the unified datum price of land in urban and rural areas in our country combining domestic and international experiences by using GIS with the guide of relevant theories in geography and land study. Taking Liaozhong county as an example , we choose Delphi as weighing and set up the unified model of datum price of land in urban and rural areas of Liaozhong county based on the technology of MapInfo .We probe the evaluation on the datum price of land of Liaozhong county ,through collecting ,editing , storing, managing, dealing with ,transforming , spacial analyzing and showing of data. The result shows that this model is objective, suitable, which has already been used to evaluation and dynamic management of the datum price of land in Liaozhong county well.
