The main idea of a full core plus correlation (FCPC) and its important achievement are reviewed. The transition energy and corresponding oscillator strength of 1s2nf (n = 6, 7, 8) -1s23d for lithium-like ions with nuclear charge from Z=11 to 20 are calculated by using FCPC method. The non-relativistic energies and wave functions are calculated by Rayleigh-Ritz(s variation method. Relativistic and mass-polarization effects on the energies are included as the first-order perturbation. The quantum-electrodynamics contributions to transition energy are also evaluated by using effective nuclear charge. The fine structure is calculated by using the spin-orbit and the spin-other-orbit interaction operators. The results are in excellent agreement with experimental data available in the literature.
