There are many geography disasters in our country and these disasters bring ushuge losses every year. By accurately forecasting them, a lot can be saved.ANN(Artificial Neural Networks) can do well in forecasting because it has a specialability called self-learning. But geographical information has spatial and time character.So how to manage and describe the information is a real serious problem. GIS(Geographical Information System) provides a good solution to digitize and computerprocess the geographical information.This dissertation declares the way using Nerual Networks with GIS.The main pointis how to get a right way to forecast geography disasters by using the information fromGIS.On the base of the analysis of geography disasters,the factor models and theposibility models of geographical disaster are designed.Also,the data handlingprocedure of geography information is designed.
