This paper systematically introduces the method of research in the underground meandering channel point bar at the situation of close-spaced well with oilfield entering cut production , and uses No 1 Block in Gangdong District of Dagang Oilfield as an example. The study combines static data with dynamics data , such as bore sample data, well logging data ,well testing data and producing data , uses Geological information database of outcrop and modern sediment as theory, and analyzes reservoir in hiberarchy, include identifies sedimentary microfacies, recognizes single channel in multiple sandbody , recognizes point bar in single channel and recognizes in single channel, and founds the 3-D reservoir architecture model of the research area. Lateral accretional clay layers in point bar overlap vertically and latter accretional body laps over on the former one. Therefore, with this concept model mentioned above, the study also quantitatively analyses the effect of "Semi-Communicated Sandbody Model "on the spatial distribution of remaining oil. The study also shows that there are remaining oil in the lateral accretionary body in extra-high water situation. It can be expected to improve ultimate oil recovery using water injection.
