Study On Ecological Carrying Capacity Of Erqis River Region In Xinjiang

Ecological Carrying Capacity (ECC) is the foundation of sustainable development, and its'research isadvantageous in implementing the sustainable developmental strategy. To maintaining the ecosystem integrityand to controlling the humanity's movement in the ecosystem carrying capacity scope are carrying out theecosystem and the region sustainable development'most basic and most important conditions.The Eeqis River Region is an ecological environment frailty and impoverished backward area, wherethe resources are relatively rich but the economy is not relative developed. With the sustaining development ofthe social economy scale and the unceasing enhancement of the standard of living of people, as well as theunceasing increase of the population, the contradictory conflicts between the human and the nature andresources'exploiture and the ecological environment protection, the farming and forestry herd are moreobvious. The whole ecological environment of the Eeqis River Region is tending to worse, although partiallyecological environment has been improved. Investigating its reasons, the reasons are numerous, but the ECC isaffirmative an important reason. Because we want to rationally explore and use the resources, we must knowthe carrying capacity of the resources and the ability of the ecological environment'self-repair. So we cannotblindly explore and use the resources, otherwise once surpassed the carrying capacity of the resources, theecological environment can be destructed, the ecosystem healthy development can also be affected. Thisdissertation discussed and gave the concept of ECC, and estimated the ECC of the respective and its'internalvarious districts. The results are respective that the Eeqis River Region belongs to the medium stable,superiorto carrying and medium pressing district, the Altay city belongs to the medium stable,superior to carrying andstrong pressing district, the Habahe county belongs to the superior to stable,superior to carrying and superior topressing district, the Burqin county belongs to the medium stable,superior to carrying and superior to pressingdistrict, the Fuhai county belongs to the medium stable,superior to carrying and low pressing district, theFuyun county belongs to the medium stable,superior to carrying and low pressing district. Last, the author putsforward to the sustainable developmental strategy of the Eeqis River Region that "the forest is primary,theherd is auxiliary,the mining industry is development and the traveling is promotion", which will provide thetheory basis for this sustainable developmental strategy of the Eeqis River Region.
