Services Of Mobile Location Based On Java Technology

Spatial query , spatial analysis ,position navigation ,spatial reasoning etc. plays a important role in Geographic Information System (GIS). GIS is used in large corporation and position isn't moved. If we change the condition and develop mobile GIS ,GIS will develop more quickly and more and more user will use GIS.Many difficulty and restriction need been overcomed because of restricted device and multiple platform .So all program is developed by Java in J2ME platform. Data struct and algorithm in J2ME is very limited. I export JDK 1.4 ,Geotools and JTS library to J2ME platform in order to develop mobile GIS. In this system ,business GIS component isn't used. In this article, zoom in ,zoom out ,pan ,matching location,DE-9IM,managing layer , receiving GPS and projection etc. is developed . This program is developed by Java , so it can run on WinCE ,Nokia , Linux and smart mobile device.I develop this digital mobile GIS by Eclipse Java IDE and ant tool. All program are tested in Legend Pocket PC and test data is Central South University (CSU) shape file (*.shp and *.dbf).
