The seafloor magnetotelluric apparatus collect the data at the bottom of sea. Thedata that collect is mainly five time sequences of the road signal, Namely two electricfield level weight( Ex, Ey) that hand over just mutually, two perpendicularweight( Hz) of the magnetic field level weight( Hx, Hy) and magnetic fields that handover just mutually.The main function of the instrument is to collect the data through controlling thehardware. It can also analyzing the processing and the results.In the development of the instrument, the hardware electric circuit upgradescontinuously, but the software part did not correspond with it . which bring some newproblems technically, one of these problems is that some fuction can't be used freelywith the development of the hardware. Surrounding this technology problem, thispaper offers a resolution.This paper discuss the designs of the software system for monitoring seafloorinformation and how to embed the system in the seafloor magnetotelluric apparatus,which suit for the whole machine characteristic. Then project the SMS1.0( theSeafloor magnetotelluric system). Following this protcol to write the data collectsthe software of each function the mold piece, to the instrument software each functionthe mold piece of the system carries on the integration, thus for build up a set ofperfect bottom of sea earth electromagnetism software to provide the theories andthe method support. The function of this software system most be to collect theprocessing of the data and saving it .The establishment data collects the data format ofthe source document, the parameter document manage the way to collect the nextmachine original data record method and the place of honor machine data to drawup according to the certain format. Further perfect collect the readability of theparameter document, establishment Windows under of operation terrace.In the dissertation, demand analysis, design, development and realization of thedata putback software for marine magetotelluric instruments are introduced roundlyand systematically. According to specific requirements of practical work, softwaredesign scheme has been made in the software system based on the data acquired bythe marine magetotelluric instruments. Software development has been done bychoosing Windows development platform, adopting object-oriented programmingmethods and selecting development tool of Visual C ++ 6.0.
