GPS Global Positioning System Based ARM9

Along with the unceasing development of our country's traffic system, the motor vehicle increases day by day, in order to monitor and manage the motor vehicle, the vehicles supervisory system need to satisfy the novel and high demand. Based on such demand and background, the system which I have studied and realized can provide precisely localization by GPS and cover broad communication network with inexpensive work costs and operate conveniently.The Linux operating system has many superiority, but applying on the professional terminal device is a new topic with many challenges. This paper elaborate embedded design thought and the S3C2410X system's structure and circuit design and the technology of Global Position System and the kernel transplant and the compile of Linux. When the embedded Linux system applies on this GPS professional terminal device may face some technique problem such as transplants the Linux operating system and guide kernel. Based on the question above and the specific hardware environment which used in the project, this paper proposed the method and process of the Linux system applies on the GPS professional terminal device. The GPS can run on embedded Linux system with high efficiency and stability and security.
