The earthquake is the most abrupt and destructive nature disaster in the world. With the industry development of petrol, chemical engineering , metallurgy , chemical fiber etc, heating stoves have been the important industry facilities. The heating stoves store things whose qualities are easily burn and explod. Once damages under earthquake, the loss of economy will be enormous. Especially, secondary seismic disaster will result in serious harm and influence to the human being's living atmosphere, One of important research topic is that how to lessen the heating stoves breakage under seismic effect. The development of structure control science offers a new approach for anti-seismic design and research of heating stoves.Combine structure control theory do the research on earthquake responses Control for a drum type heating furnace . The research works mainly as follows:1. Making use of finite element (FE) analysis software ANSYS, FE drum type heating furnace model is builded. Get the free vibration periods and frequencies adopting model analysis. Get the structure's earthquake responses under three different earthquake records adopting transient analysis.2. Making use of finite element (FE) analysis software ANSYS, FE drum type heating furnace model of separating measures is builded. Get the free vibration periods and frequencies adopting model analysis. Get the structure's earthquake responses under three different earthquake records adopting transient analysis.3. Comparing the two results, get the drum type heating furnace structure seismic response decreasing effect, which can be the reference for heating stoves anti-seismic design.
