Geophysical field data may be get using special instruments in aero geophysical survey, such as the gravitational field data, the magnet field data. It is also necessary to obtain some parameters, such as the altitude of the airplane, the temperature inside of the airplane. The altitude data is very important information to flight. These parameters should be displayed on the screen together. This paper introduce the idea and process of research & development of altitude and temperature parameters conversion system which is needed in aero geophysical survey. This system need to be connected with a radar altimeter, a barometric altimeter, and a temperature sensor. Then it can convert the analog signals which the connected instruments output to digital signals and output data of BCD format to a computer through parallel port, and show the data on the screen at the same time. After the system is connected with a computer through serial port, the system can be calibrated using the calibration software installed in the computer. Then the parameters of conversion are saved in electrically erasable programmable read-only memory of the system. A microcontroller controls the process of analog-to-digital conversion, output and display the result of conversion. The analog voltage signal are analog-to-digital converted by a high-speed and high-degree of accuracy 16-bit AD chip.
