Massive data memory, organization and management have already become a bottleneck which has restricted GIS technical development and become one of the important front subjects of the geographical information science studying. Spatial database engine technology is on the basis of fully utilizing existing DBMS to massive data processing and managerial ability, the managing integratively in DBMS of spatial data and attribute data have come to true, guarantee the security, consistency and integrality of the spatial data at the same time. The goal of this thesis is on the basis of the design of spatial data model and spatial database independently, utilizing spatial database engine software that already has being, which has realized the memory, organization and management of the massive spatial data in the Figure Management Modul of Constrction Landuse Systems, Increasing a certain data processing function at the same time. This thesis has carried on research to the following four contents:(1) Object-Oriented space-time data model. On the basis of analysing and discussing the advantages and disadvantages of traditional spatial data model, proposed and designed the Object-Oriented space-time data model. This model adopts the thought of Object-Oriented, incorporate many kinds of successful methods of modeling , break through the organize model that it base on the map layer and breath, but to organize and manage the massive spatial data with the entity and relation carried on the spatial data directly.(2) Design of the massive spatial database. Base on Oracle, the space-time data model and the object-relation database management system, designed the vector and grid spatial database independent.(3) The quality control of the massive spatial data. Has adviced the view to control quality of the spatial data, on the basis of foundation of the spatial data model and database, designed the method to treatment spatial data and to inspect data quality automatic in the time of introduction and pretreatment.(4) Systematic application. Because of the above theory , have realized the management information system of using land of construction and the information work station of reference point to manage the massive spatial data.Studies have shown, the Object-Oriented space-time data model designed in this text can carry on the management of the massive spatial data more efficiently.
