The vibrator, based on the principle of spreading the dispersing energy into underground in the relatively long time and then concentrating and compressing the energy into the narrow pulse using the correlation technology, will be one kind of the non-explosive seismic sources used in the project survey and the shallow layer survey. It detects the information of the underground object through swept- frequency signal with the controllable phase, the controllable frequency and amplitude, the good amplitude-frequency characteristic, the good linearity and the good uniformity. Compared with the impact sources, the vibrator is complex, but is safe to use. It also has many other prominent merits such as using controllable stimulation profile to enhance the resolution, using the correlation technology to suppress the random disturbance, producing a pulse that equal to the explosive source even more incisive than the explosive source and so on.However, besides wide dynamic range and high sampling rate, the high frequency vibrator also asks the seismic data acquisition system to meet the demands of realizing the storage of mass data,real-time correlation and many times data superimposition after the correlation. So according to the characteristics of vibrator, the seismic data acquisition system that operates on-line with vibrator must have the functions as follows:First, it must have the ability of recording a great quantity of data.Second, it must have assistant channels to sample reference signals.Third, it must have the function of data correlation in real-time and the many times superimposition function of signal with the same phase.The high frequency vibrator has the status which is unable to substitute in small scope underground information acquisitions like project in environment exploration, especially in the middle or small scale exploration of the urban...
