In the aspect of data processing, methods of coordinate transformation were concluded, the applying range and notice proceeding of the whole bag of tricks combining were found with the examples of actual projects, the error of the surface of antenna was analyzed, the formulas of the precision of surface of antenna and plumb warp were brought forward, the model of antenna's surface was constructed by means of neutral net, the 3D models of antenna and the isoline express of plumb warp were carried out. In the aspect of surveying practice, a series of surveying scheme of installation and examination of 50m large antenna was put forward; total station measuring system and close range photogrammetry were firstly applied to the examination of the large antenna surface interiorly. The use of them realized automatization, saved the expenses, shortened the time limit for the project, provided reliable guarantee to the produce and installation of the antenna, spoke volumes for the importance and essentiality of precise surveying in the design, making, installation and adjustment of large antenna, and also made stable foundation for the installation and manufacture of large and huge antenna in terms of theory and practice in the future.
