SⅠ-Ⅲ, PⅠ-Ⅱ, GⅠ-Ⅳlayer has been exploited from initial development of the Lamadian oil-field in 1973, which made great contribution to Daqing oil-field with high and stable output. With Lamadian oil-field in a high water-contained stage, we should seek new replacing reserves to sustain stable output. Rockcore data, oil-testing material and research result of So-Layer show that the complex oil-gas characteristics which is appearently different from other layer make the prospect of oil-gas resource not bright. This problem bring great difficulties to calculating reserves and developing deployment. As a result, it is nessecery to make clear characteristics of oil-source and oil-gas resource potential that can provide solid technology ensures for oil-field sustainable development.At first, this test study physics and chemistric property of the crude oil by investigating study achievement in the earlier stage and analyzing the samples data,then, contrast the crude oil with that in different layers which belong to Songliao northern area and different oil-field of Changyuan northern area.In the other hand, the condition of generating hydrocarbon and chracateristic of So-layer has been studied. At last, oil-gas output of mudstone was estimated by using"discharge hydrocarbon threshold law"and"thermal simulation experiment method", which can forecast the resource potential and the most advantageous aggregation area of So-layer .Because of the formatiom structure, oil and gas in So-layer is mainly from Nenjiang layer 1th phase and mixture of oil-gas in Qingshankou layer. Thickish and dead colour mudstone in Nenjiang layer can generate huge amounts of oil and gas. Qingshankou layer is as good as Nenjiang layer, from which oil and gas can be moved to So-layer reservoir.So-layer hydrocarbon-source rock that belong to Daqing Changyuan Nen 1th phase mudstone have high organic plentiful(TOC average 1.189%), fine type(organic type isⅠ,Ⅱ), fairly good potential according to the condition of generating hydrocarbon and been in mature stage(R。=0.43%). So-layer reservoir has the same structure, deposition evolution law, fine reserve -cover condition as Daqing Changyuan which provide neccesary condition for So-layer reservoir formation. Adopting"discharge hydrocarbon threshold law"and"thermal simulation experiment method"has predicted the oil and gasresource reserve up to 9.0~6×106~12.430786×10~6t. By geology information coincidence, the most advantageous aggregation of oil and gas resources area is in the east.Western, southwest and northern part is comparatively advantageous. However, central section is relatively poor.
