The Development Of WebGIS Based On Geo-Spatial Database

With an increase of geo-spatial data, more attention has been paid to the issues, such as how to get efficient management and use of geo-spatial data, and how to support users to get geography information through web. It is a significant work to explore a WebGIS based on geo-spatial database. This research explores a management system of processed oil market based on WebGIS which combines WebGIS technology with geo-spatial database technology.Firstly, this research makes a introduction to the technologies of geo-spatial database, WebGIS and selects J2EE as tapping platform. In this dissertation, after dissecting the technologies of WebGIS, Oracle, Geodatabase and capability improvement of geo-spatial database, the seamless geo-spatial database is built logically and physically in the light of standardization. The database is organized with Geodatabase model, memorized and managed in large relational database Oracle 9i, operated through ArcSDE as their middleware. Finally, This research explores a management system of processed oil market based on WebGIS. The system is developed with Jbuilder 2005, we use Java as the main program language to build up the whole architectur of network application service in heterogeneous environment, with expression layer through JSP and logic Layer through JavaBeans. It has provided a series of functions, for example, data querying, downloading, graphical browsing, graphical searching, property querying and correlative operation management. It is a management and service platform orienting industry application.This system is working well in the management of processed oil market of Zhejiang province, which proves that the solution is feasible both in theory and in practice and make it more useful to serve management practice of processed oil market of Zhejiang province.
