A Taxonomic Study On Eumolpidae (Coleoptera: Chrysomeloidea) From Heilongjiang Province

The Eumolpidae, belonging to the superfamily Chrysomeloidea of the order Coleoptera, isof rather great economic importance, and comprises more than 700 species all over the China.The species of Eumolpidae from Heilongjiang Province are firstly deal with in this present pa-per. The status biology and economic importance are also introduced in detail.In the systematic account 57 species known to Heilongjiang belonging to 3 subfamily aredescribed in detail. Of them, 3 species are new to science: Labidostomis rubimaculus sp.nov,Cryptocephalus apressus sp.nov, Cryptocephalus maculatus sp.nov and 2 species are newlyrecorded from China: Cryptocephalus monilis Weise, Cryptocephalus yamadai Ch(?)(?). 7hHmale Aedeagus of 2 of the classification and hierarchy of the family Eumolpidae are made, andthe morphological characteristics similar species belonging to genus Clytra are dissection andphotographed, the research showed that their aedeagus are very similary and their host plan anddistribution also same, so we cautious think this two species are the same species. We also re-named Cryptocephalus heilongjiangensis n. nov instead of Cryptocephalus manchuricus Gres-sit and h imoto, because manchuricus is a contumelious word.According to analyse, The most of Eumolpidae species distribute southeast in Heilongji-ang. The results as follow:Xinganling area include 15 species, account for 26.3ï¼…; Sanjiangpingyuan area include 5species, account for 8.8ï¼…; Dongnashan area include 41species, account for 71.9ï¼…; songneng-pingyuan area include 22 species, account for 38.6ï¼….The adult photos of mostly species and Aedeagus photos of 3 new species and 1 new re-cord species are also provided.
