This paper introduces the kernel techniques of the geographic information systems (GIS) , which including database technique, spacial analysis technique and visual technique and sums up the application of GIS in management and its shortage. Based on the rapid, stably and healthy development of economic, studying"the visual administrant system of mine", we want to draw up an administrant system so as to meet the rapidly economic development and provide the healthy economic construction of our country with software support.This system includes two parts. The first part establishes the functional interface of the industrial management and realized the visual data in two dimension by using VB6.0, Mapinfo4.0 and Mapbasic4.0.In this part, the project realizes the query and administrate of the house property, cadre information, worker information and others information. The second part realizes the three dimensional effect of the system by using VC++6.0 for OpenGL figure storeroom. In this part, the realization includes circumrotate, standing-rotate, move and zoom, by which the user can see the three dimensional effect of the project.In this system, the project opens a new field in advance in realizing the link and query between figure and property by insetting the main function of Mapinfo4.0 in the interface drew up by VB6.0 by using object link and embed technique, realizing high efficiency of the system by using vector data in the draw-up of the three dimensional structure of the object. If this system succeeds, it can be extended to the application in the management of the same enterprise, which can improve the efficiency of the administrant and promote the development of the economy.
