Fuzzy control is a kind of artificial intelligent control. It needs no accurate mathematical or physical model. It can be implemented with expert knowledge and human experience, and can satisfy real-time, dynamic control requirement. It has flouring prospect and wide area of application. Since Greek scholar C.P.Pappis and English Fuzzy Control expert E.H,Mamdani set forth Single Intersection Fuzzy Traffic Control in 1977 , fuzzy research method has been recognized quickly . From then on, much research was mainly concentrated on single intersection with two-phase traffic control.Based on consideration above, in this paper, Presents a phase sequence-changeable fuzzy control method, which is in urban traffic intersection net control .This method based on the pass through weight transfer degree by which the next green phase and its green time length are determined. The simulation results indicate that the algorithm has better control performance.1) The method is based on phase sequence-changeable, i.e. the current transportation decided phase sequence. In the same time the length of green light is good for improving its green performance. To optimize definiting regulation of fuzzy control is the most effective way for improving fuzzy control performance.2) Fuzzy control method uses few rules, and has good performance. It is a effective traffic lights fuzzy control method. The simulation results indicate that the algorithm has better then inductive method.
