| Infrared Optical-Electric Imaging System (IREOIS) have an inherent advantage that it can work in both day and night. For it, IREOIS now is used in lots of fields by cooperating with visible imaging system, such as scout and detect, etc. Performance model is important link in thermal imaging technologies and it provides the theoretical basis and analytical tools for system design, analysis, verification and genesis of new concepts.Based on the studying of the huge volume references and the detailed analysis of the theory, we do the research on the static performance parameters, such as signal transfer function (SiTF), noise equivalent temperature difference (NETD), modulation transfer function (MTF) and minimum resolvable temperature difference (MRTD) of the infrared imaging system and get the formula description of each one finally.In the paper, a real thermal imaging system is tested, the test methods, equipment and setup for SiTF, NETD, MTF and MRTD are given, the experimental results and ideal values are compared, get a better consistency. |
