Research On Laser Range-gated Infrared Imaging Technology

When compared with initiative infrared laser system,low-light level and infrared thermal imaging system possesses eminent imperceptibility.However,the detectable distance is constrained by the illumination of sky backdrop,weather condition,target temperature and contrast ratio.The imaging quality will be worse in long-range detection.An innovative imaging technic is now leading a trend in the area of photoelectric detection and measurement,which is the long-distance laser gated imaging technic.It can not only remedy flaws in traditional passive imaging system,but can also produce image with longer effective length,high level of clarity and contrast ratio.At present,research active infrared laser illumination imaging systems mostly use spectral response range of 0.4?0.8 ? m of CCD or ICCD camera.And this paper the design of the laser illumination for imaging uses shortwave infrared imaging system As used herein,the imaging system consists of built shortwave infrared imaging systems,medium-wave infrared imaging systems,and near-infrared laser irradiation consists of three parts.This system utilizes medium wave infrared imaging system to detect target and shortwave infrared imaging system to discern.Besides,the performance in long-distance target discern is enhanced by the laser-gating system.This research mainly focus on the design of shortwave infrared imaging system,including the design of medium wave infrared imaging system,simulation and test of performance.We construct the mathematic model of laser power,and conduct calculation.Afterwards,our team finalize the near-infrared laser irradiator which matches with the shortwave infrared wave band 1?1.7?um.Aiming to explore the remote infrared laser gated imaging system,a basic theoretical proof,and prospective studies.To achieve long-range infrared laser gated imaging technology to detect and identify targets around the clock and provide distance information,the three atmospheric infrared transmission window to achieve" seamless detection," laid the foundation.
