House Management is important to the development of Chinese national economy and municipal administration.At present,the confusion of the house data format has affected the scientific management and updating in time of house data.In addition,the development of society brought the frequent changes in house elements.It brings forward some higher demands of multi-temporal management,tracing analysis and distributing of house resource.In result, the house department needs to establish the house management information system to meet the development.Basing on the characteristics of house management,this thesis analyses the problems of existing house management systems,presents a solution to data relationship and version management of temporal data,as well as expatiates on the design of database and function modules in detail by taking ECNU for an example.As a result,a campus public room management system of ECNU is established based on ArcGIS Engine Platform.This thesis includes five chapters.Chapter 1 is the introduction to the background and research significance.It also analyses the research status of house management information system.Meanwhile the research target and main research content are brought forward.Chapter 2 explores the key technologies in the house management in detail,such as multilayer data relationship and version management of temporal data.Chapter 3 illustrates the database design,the whole system plan and system functional modules development of ECNU campus public room management system,in which GIS basic performance,version management of temporal data,query and stat.,data management, house demanding computing,tracing analysis,exporting and users management are realized.Chapter 4 is a demo of the main functional modules performance of house management system.Chapter 5 summarizes the research results of the thesis as well as the weak points and further work in the future.Main research results of the thesis reflected in the following aspects:improving the mechanism of data version management basing on the characteristics of house data in order to manage multi-temporal and various type of data;developing tracing analysis module which realizes the tracing of history and dynamic change;introducing house demanding computing to distribute house resource;building an alone database for some attribute which has a field to make updating conveniently.
