Combustible gas explosion is a major disaster of industrial explosion. Meanwhile, it has an important value in the field of military and thermal energy & power engineering. Currently, the study of combustible gas explosion depends on experimental research methods, but the equipment investment large and expensive, and more difficult to control them, together with some other aspects of technical reasons, that experimental data collected is often very limited. So, rely on purely experimental study has great limitations. While, developing numerical simulation on the basis of experimental study is an effective method help to understand more about occurrence and development of combustible gas explosion, which can save a great deal of manpower, material and financial resources, also can obtain more and comprehensive results than experimental data.Simulation of premixed flammable gas explosion in pipe Based on "gas & dust explosion in pipeline experimental system" that made in North University of China and relevant experimental data was studied in this paper. And a two-dimensional closed-closed pipe model and fluid mechanics, combustion governing equations are designed use computational fluid dynamics technology, then made discrete equations by finite volume method, moreover, two-dimensional numerical simulation to explosion of premixed methane-air mixed gases in the Pipeline and acceleration mechanism of explosion wave were researched in this paper. Furthermore, the influence of flame propagation speed and pressure of explosion in different port condition, slenderness ratio of pipe, combustible gas concentration, firing position, initial temperature were studied by numerical model in this paper, and some useful conclusions were given. And numerical simulation results and experimental results and documents were compared, and the validity of the numerical simulation was ultimately proved.
