The Research On The Thought Of Chen Changshu's Science And Technology Demarcation

The demarcation is one of the basic issues of science and technology philosophy, which is a long-standing controversial issue, and we must face to it. Therefore, clarifying the relationship between technology and science may be one main phenomenon of China's current philosophy, and it is also an essential work. Chen Changshu is a well-known philosopher, who is one of the founders of Chinese philosophy of technology. He did the extensive and deep research on major theoretical and practical issues of Chinese modernization construction of the technological development. He also created the basic paradigm of the technology in Chinese Philosophy, which formed a more complete and authoritative thought. We used to do more studies on foreign technical philosopher's thinking on the demarcation, but we seldom do studies on domestic philosopher's thought on it. According to these, the author chooses the demarcation thought of science and technology as its subject.First, the thesis sets Chen's academic thought in the historic order. Second, it concludes and summarizes his thought on the works. Then the author compares it with the thought of domestic and foreign scholars. At length, the author discusses the theoretic and practical value of it.The author hopes that the thesis could summon the scholars' attention to the thought of the domestic scholars, and it could also inspire the people who engage in the research of Chen Changshu's demarcation thought.
