Reservoir is the main study object of oil and gas exploration and production, and that the valuation of reservoir is the most important content of reservoir description. In the paper, the study object is the sand body of Es4 in the area of HuiMin sag. Based on study of the predecessors, with the data of lithology, physical characteristic, electrical characteristic and test information in the area of Es4, made a study on divided and distributing of sand bodies, Physical Property Characteristics and the lower limit of the Reservoir, and further analyze the characters of bearing oil and the standard of identifying oil, that have value for exploration and exploitation of reservoir.Reservoir physical property is dominated by fine sandstones and siltstone, the paper have made a Logging interpretation of porosity model according to comprehensive studies of well logs, cores analysis and previous study. I found that in the reservoir parameters log interpretation methods, according to the testing data, the neural network prediction method has a higher accuracy, compared with the traditional log interpretation method. The reservoir is the less poral and percolating reservoir, porosity is distributed from 2.8% to 29%,16.3% on average, and permeability is distributed from 0.05×10-3 m2 to 368×10-3 m2,80×10-3 m2 on average. And further researched on reservoir heterogeneity in the three sides of in-layer, interlayer and Plane heterogeneous. Its pore structure is bad with heavy reservoir heterogeneity. The thickness of sand body varied greatly in both length and breadth. Research shows that sedimentation is the main influencing factor of reservoir, the precipitation of original pores and the development of secondary pores in sandstone reservoir. There are four types of reservoir formation in this area and the type ofⅠandⅡare the favorable ones andⅢis comparatively favorable by the comprehensive research and evaluation. The Evaluation of Reservoir provides the credibility geology gist for further exploration and exploitation in this area.
