To study the expression of PrRP in different tissues in mouse,this experiment selected 36 mices as objections,divided into early,mid,late trimester of pregnancy and early,mid ,late trimester of lactation,and we detected the expression of PrRP in hypothalamus,pituitary body,oblongata,thyroid gland,adrenal gland and ovaries by the semi-quantitative RT-PCR methods.The results as follow:1.The expression rule of PrRP in different tissues in early trimester of pregnancy and lactation is that oblongata is at the highest level,significantly higher than hypothalamus, pituitary body,thyroid gland and adrenal gland(P<0.05),wherea ovaries at moderate level.2.The expression rule of PrRP in different tissues in mid trimester of pregnancy and lactation is that ovaries is at the highest level, higher than oblongata(P>0.05),but significantly higher than pituitary body,thyroid gland and adrenal gland (P<0.05), wherea hypothalamus at moderate level.3.The expression rule of PrRP in different tissues in late trimester of pregnancy is that ovaries is at the highest level, higher than oblongata(P>0.05),but significantly higher than other tissues(P<0.05).wherea that of PrRP in late trimester of lactation is that oblongata is at the highest level, significantly higher than other tissues(P<0.05).4.The difference among levels of PrRP in mouse of different period is not significant(P>0.05).5.The level of PrRP of adrenal gland in period of pregnancy firstly decreased and then increased,and increased in period of lactation ,raeching to the highest in late trimester of lactation,but compared with that of PrRP in period of pregnancy, the difference is significant(P<0.05).6.The level of PrRP of ovaries in period of pregnancy and lactation firstly increased and then decreased,reaching to the lowest level in late trimester of lactation , and compared with that of PrRP in period of pregnancy, the difference is significant(P<0.05).These results indicate that the expression of PrRP in hypothalamus,pituitary body,oblongata and thyroid gland may not be affected by the period of growth,that PrRP in adrenal gland maybe involved in regulating neuroendocrine and stress, and that PrRP in ovaries maybe promote the form of luteal cells,and further regulate endocrine of generation.
