Chen Jia Bao landslide located at Yufu developing district of Feng Jie couty is one part pof the old landslide, which is in a reactive weak deformatiom stage now. With the progress of settelement project, human activities on the landslide body are increasingly intensifying, which is destroying the stability of the landslide. Chen Jia Bao landslide may revive under the action of rainstorm for a long time. If the stability of landslide is destroyed, people's lives and property will be jarpotized and the main roads in the city will become paralytic too. It is very important to effectively prevent the occurance of the landslide.By analyzing the existing geological data and the reasons of the landslide, the stability of Chen Jia Bao landslide is studied by the transfer coefficient mothed and the FEM, based on which the treatment scheme is presented. Furthermore, the selected treatment scheme is numerically investigated by means of the FEM. The main works and achievements obtained in this paper are as follows:â‘ Based on the analyses on the geological data of Chen Jia Bao landslide, the configuration and characteristics of the landslide are obtained, and in turn the influence factors on the landslide are discoverd.â‘¡The stability of the representative sections of the landslide are analyzed by the transfer coefficient mothed. It is shown that Chen Jia Bao landslide is stable in natural state, but unstable in the case of rainstorm for a long time, which is consistent with the real situation.â‘¢Several treatment schemes to Chen Jia Ba landslide are suggested, based on the results of stability analyses. A rational treatment scheme is determined after comparing those proposed schemes.â‘£Numerical analyses on the stability of Chen Jia Ba landslide before and after treatment are carried out by means of ABAQUS software, and the results reflect that the selected treatment scheme is efficient and rational.
