Study On The Features Analysis And Development Criterion For Industry Specified Logistics Park

Logistics has become a greatly developed industry during the recent years, and different logistics parks, especially generalized logistics parks, have been constructed. With the procedure of industry cluster and the development of regional economic on one side, and the increasing pressure from lack of resources, environment protection requirements and economic competition between enterprises on the other side, logistics parks that serve certain industry only would be the next inevitable step for logistics developing.Most of the researches about logistics park have been focused on Generalized Logistics Park, while very few are concerned with those parks specified for certain industry. The theory of industry specified logistics park need to be developed in a systematic way urgently.Based on the analysis of general logistics parks, and research on the features of those main industries'products and supply chains, the concept of Industry Specified Logistics Park is established in this paper, and its core target, special essence, features and functions are discussed in detail, with consideration of the increasing requirements on efficiency, security, small recourse and energy usage, and environment friendly for a sustainable economic development. Industry Specified Logistics Park is considered to be a useful way in resources reduction, logistics efficiency and quality improvement, and it has special requirements on the commonness of those industries as the suitability for such new logistics parks, so the study on these features and commonness is essential for the reasonable planning of the park.The basic elements and factors of the park, and the environment influences have also been analyzed. Qualitative and quantitive indexes are defined and calculated, and evaluation models for industry suitability, regional suitability, ability of the park itself, and the relative efficiency of different regions for the same kind of industry have been developed with theories of different mathematical methods.
